Some people might think am going crazy here but imo a think we should play a 3-5-2 next week with forrest and derk up front, and our full backs pushed up as wingbacks, a cant see us winning much in the air from crosses from the wings the key is finding commons who will be deployed in the number 10 roll behind the strikers, there doubling up on forrest when he,s on the right and izzy is further forward on the left and its the same, it would give us a different way of playing but i believe we have sharper skills and if commons could find the killer passes it would work.

But a can see us getting in behind them with fast players, aye its a major gamble but could work better than the same * system we have been playing, ie side to side passing, this would work a treat imo and would suck them further into there own box.

Its been proven that samaras is no striker and stokes probs wont get a start if he does he would be up there with balde or watt because he wont play samaras up there in next week imo

The way they let us have the ball in front of them tells me this would work, they are just going to come and camp again, we need link up play with fast passing and we could really destroy this mob, what we do need is the crowd behind us, there crowd was of decent noise and spurred them on we need the same!!!!! even better if its a full house. we also need to attack them throw ins and there * punts up the park a lot better than the * we gave last night. a believe we will go through we are far from out lads :50:

Samaras would be one of the first names on the team sheet I would imagine. On the left wing however. Would mind seeing Derk up front, maybe with stokes or Balde though.

one things clear somethings got to change or we will be heading into the europa league, if he starts with stokes and samaras we are as good as out imo beacuse they will just get out muscled we need players that could run the line and cause problems :50:

A would love to see how much distance he covered with the we system things they used, a probly done more distance heading in for a * at half time than he did in 90 mins, he won * all in the air all day as well:rolleyes:

obviously needs a kick up the *, too comfortable because he knows he is a certain starter

Aye we have got 1 that panic kicks when no * is near him , but his height would come in useful :52:

Am just saying its different, and thats what we need, if we stick with the same team we have been playing this year in europe we would be as well as just chucking it noo coz imo we are as good as out :50:

This would make it 3 games in a row where we didn't start any strikers upfront. No thanks.

I'd play Boerrigter in the same position he played in against Ross County. He looked like a real threat going forward.

If Samaras is fit for next week then I'd go for a midfield/forward line something like this...................

    Broony------Ledley

    Commons

    Samaras----------Stokes----------Boerrigter

Lennon complains of "lack of composure up front", I TELL YOU WHAT, I COMPLAIN OF TEAM SELECTION, MR NEIL LENNON, EG SAMARAS AS SOLITARY STRIKER, HE IS USELESS, FOR GOODNESS SAKE, HAVE YOU NOT REALISED THAT FACT YET, HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEMN MANAGER OF CELTIC. YOU HAD STOKES AND BALDE TO PICK, YOU GOT IT WRONG, JUST SAY IT !!!!! Sammy plays well on the left side!!!!!!

well a can tell you we didnt so you must have been watching another game mate, derk didnt start and in my line up i left sammy out, ambrose was also missing, mathews didnt start as well he came on late and a put mulgrew in central defence, and forrest played on the right but in the later stages drifted to try and cause problems

Sammy plays best in the wide areas and he's naturally right footed. I don't see any reason why he couldn't do well in that position. Ideally he'd be on the left hand side but you have to fit Boerrigter in. You could maybe switch Sammy over to the left wing and Boerrigter to the right wing and have them both cutting inside I suppose.
