wat the f**k is this guy at. does any1 know his reasons for not wantin to play for his country. Does any1 know if sumtin happened to him while he was in the squad or is is tat he just a complete an utter p***k
i get the feelin that he just sees playin for ireland as an inconvience and tinks he's to big for his boots.
i really hope we end up getin to the world cup and this ungratefull p***k ends up breakin his leg playin for swindon town reserves and has to sell tat stupid jeep to pay for his mortage.

 

harsh mate, the guy had his problems and the fai and himself decided that maybe he should take time off from international football. an excellent player who told a lie when it wasn't necessary but thats no reason to get on the kids back.

i hope he decides to come back soon as i think he's got an excellent future ahead of him with ireland

 

The boys Wife had a miscarriage and apparently you cant get out the Ireland set up for that so he told them his Gran died i think it was so he could get to his Wife as he was devastated then it came out his Gran hadn't died and he got in trouble... as clagan said he was asked to take some time off....

The guy lied when he pulled out of the Ireland World Cup qualifiers and he lied more then once. Period end of story. I understand his family situation was very difficult but fact is the guy lied and did so more then once.

His behaviour was totally unacceptable. Having said that everybody can * up. His captain at Manchester City Richard Dunne being a good example of a young pro who * up with his behaviour early in his career but got his head sorted out and has gone on to become a top class center back. I think Ireland deserves a second chance if he sorts his head out.

 

well said mate, heard about dunne turning up to training absolutely pished when keegan was in charge, now he's club captain. ireland * up big style but we dont have enough good players that we can do without people of his quality, i really hope he returns to international football with a new attitude and wins alot of caps for ireland
