Got to agree he was much better at playing the more advanced role. I always felt sorry for him, we played a pressing game under Ronny & he always done as asked. The rest of the midfield didn't press & he looked like a headless chicken because of it :56:

Said at the time as well he’s the type of player that would thrive under Rodgers, he could run all day and yes was over aggressive in the press which could be easily fixed plus has good technical ability and an eye for goal. Attacking mid and box to box he was really good in, hopefully he steps up in the Premier league if they get promotion.

Most folk did, to be fair he got shifted into a role that never suited him and through that he lost his form and confidence, then made it worse by trying too hard and making an * of it. Plus Ronny trying to play him through it.

Going to assume the reason he was sold so quickly was because he was upsetting the dressing room under ronny. Same with Mulgrew, stokes, commons.

Much better technically than Armstrong. Could have been a useful player for us.

Especially in Europe where Armstrong hasn’t been able to cope.

    Freakishly good stamina levels.

    Freakishly bad technical ability.

Give me Big Tam over Stefan any day of the week in the no.10 role.

Him and Kayal are two players I think could have really done well under BR

Starting ahead of Brown, McGregor, Ntcham, or Rogic?

Squad rotation, i think Kayal on his day was good cover for Brown, Johanssen was a work horse and would rotate between Rogic and McGregor to mix it up.

If kayal could shoot he was fantastic when on his game.
