WILL CELTIC GET AN EXTENSION ON PARKHEAD ?

 

probably not until the atmosphere improves.

no point in investing so much money into the stadium when it is silent most weeks and is never full (with the obvious exceptions of European & Rangers games)

 

if commenwealth games go to glasgow am i right in sayin that weer gona be used for the opening ceremony and get that cp's gonna get increased for that?

I heard some talk about this a few months back and they said that they would be adding another 10000 seats. There's about 30 days left until they make their minds up as to where to hold the games and it's between us and some wee African nation (I think)

Parkhead is to become like a little Olympic village. Haven't you noticed all the properties i.e shops etc under offer around the ground......not to mention a lot of new building and general tidying up

what if they put the season ticket prices down

 

if we got it because of the games would the goverment fund it?

naa, it's big enough, wouldn't think we'd get more fans at regular matches that we normally get anyway and if there was to be an extension, prices for tickets would rise i'd think. Waste of money.

 

why would prices rise?? they would decline because they would get more money without having to increase ticket prices

 

but we would have to move to another ground when the work was on .. where would we go .. hampden?

IMO hampdens * baws .. hate it

 

this may be, but it dosn't mean celtic park wil get a bigger capacity. they already have the biggest in glasgow. second biggest stadium in scotland

 

|They wud do it in the closed season or use hampden park but as for there being a lack off attmo most games them what games are you going to?the reserves?

YE but if they jst made the main stand into an upper tier then tht would get shut off
