Seriously Sean, do yourself a favour and take some time away from the Internet. You take things way too much to heart and come across like you're absolutely addicted to it.

Go out and get some fresh air mate, take up hillwalking or something and see the world. You'll feel better for it.

Homeland though

For what it’s worth, I really liked the sopranos but for me personally there’s a few shows I liked better. Breaking Bad, Prison Break, Sons of Anarchy, Wentworth, Line of Duty, Love/Hate, Game of Thrones. I just enjoyed watching them more. Objectively most of them are not as good as the sopranos in a lot of ways. They can be cheesy and unrealistic at times.

 

It's subjective mate. I love Breaking Bad (Better Call Saul is better) and SoA.

None hold a candle to Sopranos though.

I've not seen the rest you mention yet.

Who really cares though? I wouldn't be giving this a second thought by anyone else. Dutch crossed a line in a match thread and any time I stumble on his pish I'm calling it out.

 

Highly recommend watching Line of Duty, Love Hate and Wentworth mate. Unreal tv.

 

Line of duty has been on my list for years. Never got around to it.

Breaking Bad is pure fantasy. Albeit a good story but it doesnt even come close to The Sopranos in terms of writing and realism.

 

All about opinions I suppose, do love Sopranos though.

 

Breaking Bad is fantastic but Sopranos is better written, with a bigger cast of great characters.

Sopranos and The Wire are the two greatest of the big TV shows.

GOT would have been top but we won’t speak about that again.

Homeland is excellent, lost it's way after S3 but finished strong.

Not even in the same category as Sopranos though.

I actually loved it more after season 3 and they wrapped up the Brody storyline.
Defo not the same level as Sopranos though. Very very few deserve to be discussed at that level
