Scottish League Cup Quarter Final. KO 7.15 PM

    Live on BBC 2 Scotland.

After a hard fought win against Aberdeen the Bhoys have a chance to book a place in the semi-finals. We have an excellent record against Hibs in the league at Easter Road but we don't want a repeat of the last time we played them in the quarter finals of this competition in Dec 2003.

Some may say this is a diddy cup with no meaning as it carries no European place but it's a cup we haven't won for a while and it's high time we had our name engraved as "Winners" again.

Would like to see a mix of youth and first team players. These young Bhoys need game time if they are going to develop.

Not overly fussed about the cups this year.

ODWC can't say I'm excited about any of the cups either but it's important we get that winning mentality back and keep it going.

The fighting spirit missing for so many games this season is slowly returning and I don't think we can afford to lose that momentum on Wednesday. It seems as if every game just now is a pressure "must win" or Lenny is out the door one and that's why he won't take the risk with the youngsters.

If he did though I'd like to see more of McGeough and George to name just two.

Don't get me wrong I would love us to win it but atm they are a nuisance.

Guys like McCourt, Zaluska, Rogne, M.Wilson, Bangura, Hooper and Commons would benefit from a good performance hopefully we see some of them.

    Zaluska
    Wilson-Rogne-Mulgrew-El Kad
    Wanyama
    McGeouch-Ledley
    Bangura---------McCourt
    Hooper

Would love to see that with some other youngsters getting a chance from the bench. Hooper, Bangura and Commons need a few goals to get the confidence flowing.

Although I would like to see a few youth players, we still need to win the game so still need a strong team out.

Not too bothered if we win or not. For me it would make more sense to give the fringe players/youth a game. Would still like a win but it would not be a disaster if we did not.

Zaluska in for some game time and I'd play McCourt instead of Hooper. Ledley back into midfield and El Kad at left back.

Be a tough game because Hibs are getting themselves together but we should be able to beat them and get some momentum going.

Hooper just docent look fit and Ledley is quality but a wee rest would be good for him.
