Before i start i would just like to say to the mods if this is ridiculous or impossible, or wrong section, against rules etc then i apologise. just thought it "might" be a good idea. could be horrendously wrong.

just thought i would see what the consensus is on this? as the times get tougher i have noticed alot more work related threads and people asking for work etc.

I thought this might be a good place to put vacancess in your companies (either as a bottom rung employee, manager or a director) and see if we can help our fellow tims out. No secret *, open to all sort of thing, had a sick thought of the masons there.haha.

Maybe we could post our CV's without our private details and if anyone on the forum is interested then they can PM that person.

Or if its someone knowing of a vancy or want to recruit someone then just post the job and the minimum requirements.

it could even be as much as, "a bit of help on sataday beacause am moveing, beers and bbq provided +20 quid each" sort of thing.

its getting very tough out there for many people and i know from past threads on here EVERYONE helps when they can i.e the sad thread about suicide etc.

so would this be practicle in your opinion?

Do you think it might help?

and if so what else would you want?

as we all spend time on here as the celtic family, and i have myself have been helped by a fellow friend through getting tickets of here, then why not help each other, If possible further more.

    A BIG P.S

mods i dont know how to PM all of you fine gentlemen and ladies i would have done first, but just thought be easier to put it here. do not mean anything like "right new part of TC" or anything like that. it was just an observation from recent postings.

I work in the Jobcentre, if people want to post what they are looking for I would be happy to have a look and stick possible vacancies etc up here.

I think it would be good for people that are looking for a job to post what type of employment they would be looking for, and for other people to maybe have a look to see if anything is suitable out there.

Some people aren't that great at sourcing things on the net:50:

You will end up out of a job yourself mate.

Nobody will go to the job centre, they will just come on here rendering your job unnecessary. :56:

Good idea though and fair play to you for offering your services.:50:

Torys want rid of us all anyway mate. Now asking us to pay more into our pensions, despite having had a pay freeze (effectively a pay cut) for 2 years.

As I said, if anyone wants me to have a look, give me a location and an idea of what they are after, hours etc. And I can check out.

Looking for some kind of shop work/sales assistant in the Renfrew/Paisley/Braehead area for my daughter who will be 17 in September. She is staying on at school so it would have to be part time or weekend work.

    Thanks

Apart from checking the job sites, you can also get lucky by checking various companies websites or by phoning them. Here is just a couple of shop and cinema work employers that employ part time jobs usually. Also, local petrol stations, shops, cafes, and local leisure facilities would be decent places to contact.

i am 17 and looking for a part time job in Glasgow. I am kind of working at the pie stands at half time at celtic games but i haven't even had a shift yet. I have to go to celtic park on wednesday cause they are having a recruitment drive to work in the matchday hospitality bit of parkhead. But really, i just need to work anywhere to get some cash.

Just as hard at the minute to get good part time jobs as full time. Have you checked Gumtree out? They have a lot of PT jobs.

yeah, ive sent away for jobs on there hundreds of times but people hardly ever get back to me. ive just been mainly handing my CV into shops all over the place as well as applying for things online. I just hope i get this thing at celtic park cause it would be ideal. Only problem is that i need to go on the day i get exam results which is also the day after i get serious dental surgery so my mouth will be in agony.
