Should there be Safe Haven Baby Boxes installed in hospitals in UK

In USA since 1999 there have been more than 6000 babies put in Safe Haven Baby boxes.
Should they be installed in UK hospitals and fire stations like the USA.

 

The abortion supporters in 2021 tried to have law changed so that babies could be aborted right up to just before birth.
The Safe Have law would prevent that happening

 

I’m inclined to think others should just do the opposite of whatever that * rotten,abomination of a country does.

Do not want to get into a debate about abortion either,the pro-abortion and anti-abortion camps are heavy tadgers.

 

They are there due to difficulties in getting abortions in some states in America. Even before Roe vs Wade was overturned some states you couldn't get or was difficult to get an abortion as clinics that offered them got attacked or you risked being attacked going into one or leaving. Bible bashers would surround them.

Pair that with the pill not as easily accessible in parts of America.

Together this makes numerous unwanted pregnancies that go to term. In the UK that doesn't happen as often. I very much doubt abortions after the 1st trimester (for non medical reasons) will be allowed.
I don't think you should be anonymously allowed to dump your kid anyway. A kid deserves the right to seek their parents later in life if they so choose.

Only if the mothers life is at risk. Not just on a whim that they didn't want a baby anymore. That's the GOP/pro-life spin on abortion

 

I put the abortion part in but would rather it’s about Safe Haven.
I believe it’s a good idea but if in law I believe that the cost to raise that baby should be added up and if the mother decides she wants the kid back then she should be made to repay the cost
