Thought the lad was superb today, my man of the match easily. He was winning 50/50's without being penalised, ghosting past players like they weren't there and retaining the ball and picking intelligent passes all game. Plus his tireless running and fitness were a joy. Don't want to hype him up too much but If he keeps that up then he'll deliver what we thought we were getting last season. :50::50::50:

I thought Gary Caldwell was the man of the match, but I thought Scott Brown was one of the better players today now he free of that doughnut Donati

Yeah a agree Gary Caldwell was my MOTM, Brown a close second though. I can't believe McManus is our captain though. The guy is NOT good enough.Full Stop.

His performance was what i expected of him last season but what he pulled off today was amazing... just hope he keeps it up and he will become one of our strongest midfielders and will also prove to us what he is actually capable of!:hi5::50:

just needs to add urgency to his game at times when he has the ball with areas to run into i feel he slows down and plays 3 yard passes when he should get it going quikly with a run
he was really good today though and i feel he will be a top top player this season

best cm in scotland 4 me

I'm in total agreement. After all that was said, and all he went through last season its great to see him playing like this. I think that he and Caddis really shone in pre-season, both being the most positive. But Scotty has really brought back the bite and aggression back to his game, think that's bringing out his technical ability too. He just looked comfortable, confident and fit as a fiddle. As for Caldwell, I have always been weary about him, but I tell you what, since we got in the stick last season he's stepped up and for me he's heads and shoulders above McManus right now. Defensively he looks sharper and he's a pretty good passer of the ball. Think a new CB would do a world of good though, push the both of them.

That was class from Broony today he shut up alot of clowns that was getting on his back last season , lads had alot to deal with and if he puts in shifts like that week in week out this season it will be excellent ,

Totally agree with you. Caldwell was solid today. He is coming with every game. Brown was good today but would like to see him get forward more often. Brown and Hartley just seemed to sit really deep today, still think Robson is a better choice though, he's wasted out wide right.

Not sure he was my MOTM today...Robson was good in the first half as were Caldwell and Hinkel.

McGeady and Naylor our poorest players today

its often in stops and starts with him though. I just always feel like he's only giving 60% - 70% and it takes an opponenet to * him off before he gets going.

Still, definitely more encouraging from him today.

Just needs to watch he dosen't take on too many players in our own half, he shrugged them off today but could be deadly if he loses the ball.

Apart from that he was really good.
