SC replay Celtic v Dundee Utd 18 March 7.45 KO

First leg of the domestic treble safely in the trophy cabinet and Wednesday night sees us with the chance to progress in the Scottish Cup.

Upper tier closed for this one but still should attract a decent crowd. Playing the same side four times on the trot can be a bit boring but when it's the cup we can take nothing for granted.

I'd start with the same team as on Sunday but hope to see us play at a much quicker tempo. My forecast is a hard fought 2-0 win.

 

I'm torn about this. Do I:

A) Listen to this on the radio
B) Try to avoid all news about it and watch it on Celtic TV the day after
C) Call in sick at work and catch the next flight to Glasgow to watch it.

Hmm..

Johansen suspended is a huge loss. Hopefully Forrest can have as much of an impact on the game as he did yesterday, where he put in his best performance for some time.

I hope he changes it a wee bit , watching the same two teams four times in two weeks , well they just get to know what each other are going to do . I would play guidetti , scepovic , fisher and henderson . Like I say , not because anyone has been crap , just to give them something different to handle . And bring on the regulars if needed

 

Absolutley shocking that this isnt on TV. Might mean attendance is high though.

 

He's not going to play Stokes through the middle. It will be Commons.

 

I'd give Griffiths a rest, and play Guidetti or Scepovic. I'd like to see Henderson get a start as well.

 

I would much rather see scepovic given his chance than guidetti. Guidetti has had a number of opportunities in the first team recently and hasn't shown much in those games so I'm hoping scepovic is ahead of him with regards to starting or coming on as a sub.

 

I wouldn't go into the unknown in a must win cup game or in league games at this stage of the season (when its so tight). Give him cameos or 20/30 mins if the game is in the bag but I'd stick with Griffiths & Guidetti (what we know) until we have mathematically won the league.

Plus I think Scepovic is woeful.

In fairness though I don't really think Griffiths or Guidetti have done much in the last couple of games. Maybe bringing in Scepovic could freshen us up and throw a curve ball at D Utd who have done pretty well at keeping Griffiths quiet the last 2 games.

I agree with you though that Scepovic hasn't looked even half decent when he's played.

 

Why won there be any streams ? They still have to record the game anyway so surley somebody will get a hold of a European one they can't tell celtic not to show a game over the Internet if so that's * terrible I thought it was only live tv
