Has anyone read this yet? 'A Memory of Light' from the 'Wheel of Time'
It's a great fantasy series. He started writing it in the 80's I think.
He published 13 books of the series and while writing the 14th he died.
He had/has a huge following and if you read the books you know what I mean.
It was a big loss in the fantasy book community as his was expected to rival Terry Goodkinds 'Sword of Truth' novels.
He saw his death coming though and gave his wife and good friend notes to see his work to the end.
I'm reading his final work now and would recommend the series to anyone that likes that type of book.

I'm nearly halfway through. It's OK. Sanderson is a pretty mediocre writer, unfortunately, and doesn't really carry Jordan's style. But someone had to finish the tale...

I'm noticing a slight difference, maybe it's because I'm aware.
I was able to pick out Stephen Kings Richard Bachman phase.
He's mixed it up, the character plot gathering is still there, Robert would have been more gentle I think, however the plot demands excitement.
I'm halfway through also, Id like to know what you think at the end.

I have a niggling feeling it's gonna end up the same as Terry Goodkind's.
I'm not getting the feeling of 'shh dont tell me the score I have it taped'
I'mn thinking your a James Clavell kinda guy.
