What do you think of them,i think they are superb, have their own style, and OK Computer can you believe it is 20 years since that was released,i remember thinking at the time how great an album it is and still do.
Radiohead never come close to sucking up to the media and do what they want to do,a Great band.

  2. Been listening to Karma Police all day. I can't say I am a massive fan of them, only heard a few of their songs. Will have to sort that.

  6. Best since The Beatles in my opinion. They're the band I've most wanted to see live for years and I cannot wait for their TRNSMT set in a couple of weeks. Also excited to watch their third Glastonbury headline set on TV tomorrow night. Favourite song is probably Exit Music (For A Film)

If I had to rank their albums I'd go

    1. OK Computer
    2. Kid A
    3. In Rainbows
    4. Amnesiac
    5. The Bends
    6. A Moon Shaped Pool
    7. Hail To The Thief
    8. The King Of Limbs
    9. Pablo Honey

Some fantastic stuff. Also have some
    truly horrific stuff.

They're alright, they had 2 good albums, hugely overrated though on the whole.

True signs of a Great Band!

  10. Obviously a massive fan, headlining glastonbury for the 3rd time tomorrow night is going to be special.

I agree in terms of inspiration that they have a case for being second after the beatles, seeing them twice this year in manchester and glasgow (trnsmt), the way they revolutionised themselves after the bends and then again after ok computer to incorporate electronic themes in one of the most highly anticipated rock albums, instead almost completely disregarding guitars and make such an ambitious album and pulling it off with Kid a is pretty impressive.

    1. In rainbows
    2. Ok computer
    3. Kid A
    4. A moon shaped pool
    5. The bends
    6.amnesiac
    7. the king of limbs
    8. hail to the thief
    9. pablo honey

    Fav song - let down

  11. I liked Pablo Honey, other than that they are * and Thom York is an apartheid apologist.

He thinks Palestinian resistance is divisive. Massive *

They had some good tracks on their first few albums, since then they seem to care more about making their music "challenging" than they do about making it enjoyable.

Must be weird seeing them live as the biggest hits are sort of college-rock stadium sing-a-long tunes then their other songs are mostly ambient arthouse/experimental.

I can imagine the crowd going wild belting out the lyrics to Fake Plastic Trees then they all go and sit down at candle lit tables and enjoy a glass of Pinot Noir while listening to them play There There.

  18. I think the amidst the utter mediocre Britpop stuff in the 90s, the Bends and OK Computer will forever be listed up there in terms of greatest albums of all time. In 100 years from now I cant see much 90s British music being played but I do see Radioheads best standing the test of time.
