    Stephen Crainey - Went to my school was best mates with my next door neighbour, uncle coached him from the age of 10. Played for Celtic, received a cap under Vogts and is now down at Blackpool.

    Stephen Cosgrove - Went to my school, same year as Stephen and was also coached by my uncle for Lenzie youth club. Signed up for Manchester United when he was young and his career has since spiralled. Played for Motherwell, Stirling, Clyde and Gretna and is now with Killwinning Rangers in the junior league.

    Charlie Mulgrew - Also went to St Ninians, went on the supporters bus with him for years. Best mate of one of my close mates.

    Ross McGeough - Ross McGeough - Partick Thistle Football Club played fives with him for a couple of years, supposed to be going to his birthday party tonight actually.

    TOM SMITH,,scored against celtic at celtic park v thistle,on the day the young lad mark got murderd in bridgeton by a ned/thug.

    Tom got his big move to hibs became a regular in the team, injured his knee and was told that was that,Hibs honered his 2 year contract of £2000 a week.

    BIG ECK was his manager at hibs before he took the rangers job

    i worked on a government job scheme with BERNIE SLAVIN we were getting paid 70 quid a week.

    when i was growing up in castlemilk i used to play football in the back court with a CELTIC player RAB WARD and a clydebank player ian gourly

    BIG rab ward ,my fondest memories as a boy is playing football when he was there witch was everyday,when summers were summers 2 a side headdie fitba,,great wee game that was

    None personally, but my Grandad is always good for a story about former Celts, seems to know them all. He knows Jim Craig well, in fact he sent down a signed autobiography for my Grandad a while ago. He used to give lifts to 3 former Celts on their way to training too, I'll need to ask him who they were again, I've forgotten.
