Predictions for Celtic v Artmedia?

Yesterday in a moment of madness I put £200 on Celtic to beat Artmedia 3-1 tonight I got 6-1 at Skybet, what's your thoughts and why am I such a pesimistic little *?

 

My local bookie pays 5-1. 200 punds is far beyond my financial anbility
but I might throw in some zlotys ( but only because I'm a gambler ).

Who knows - as somebody earlier wrote here - if its 3-0, 4-0 at half time
than everything can happen !

It says that according to Keith Jackson of "Daily Record" Boruc will not be playing against Artmedia because everybodys opinion is that none of those 9 goals against Artmedia and Motherwell was Marshall's fault and our keeper stays on the bench.

The Glasgow Herald has an article in it saying that GS has spoken to Marshall about giving him a break, as he thinks he will be mentally unfit after conceding so many goals even though the goals weren't his fault. I'm taking that to mean that Boruc will play. I'm pleased about that, but worried about who will play in front of him.

 

Sparky - I'm really sorry but I hope you lose your money. I can understand why you didn't put £200 on 6-0 right enough, but that's what I'm gunning for - think I have a spare 50p, what's the odds?

3-1 sounds like a good result for us IMO. I don't think we will hold them to only 1 goal though...

 

i really can see a repeat of SK Suduva in 2002/03.

obviously Artmedia are of a better quality, but if we play with a high tempo, and rattle them, just like they did last wednesday; we have a sporting chance. im reserved at the minute, the first 15-20 minutes will be crucial.

 

i cant help being pesimistic.. we are already out of europe and that was * 5 - nil. Hopeless. If celtic would have crushed motherwell on saturday, there would be a chance but now team morale is at rock bottom i guess.

 

I think if Celtic play like they're capable of with all their big players gunning, we should be able to claw back 5 goals. I think the tactics should be to scare them shitless. When they walk out the tunnel we need to deafen them with YNWA, with minnows like that they will then mentally think they are going to be in for a battering. Last week was just a blip.

Hope I'm wrong , but I'll say 4-2 to Celtic. Varga and Zuraw are injured and because we have to go for it there is going to be opportunities for them to break on an already fragile, nervous and probably different back four than the last two matches.

 

That's my thought, 3-1(0), maybe 4-1, but definitely not 6-0, 7-1 --> a bridge too far, IMO. I don't think you're a pessimistic little *, just realistic - but you will probably lose your £200 and that makes you a mad realist who's skint.

IMO 4-1, close but no cigar.
I hope I'm wrong, I see us winning, but I also see our leaky defence causing problems.
This team will still be high after last week, and with their confidence high it could cause us a lot of problems.
Their attack is quick and has great movement, unfortunately our defence is as slow as a month in the jail.
6-0 would be great, but realistically our defence is a shambles, and I just can't see a clean sheet being kept.

 

This thread is a bit unecessary. Predicting the score will do * all, apart from possibly making the people who get the score right a bit happier within themselves. This time last week absolutely nobody predicted a 5-0 whitewash (apart from for us ) so nobody knows what will happen tonight. All I know is that the Bhoys will do * all without us lot behind them singing to our hearts content. We may win 6-0, but it is so unpredictable that it is not being far-fetched when I say we could also lose 6-0 (sadly).

Lets roar the Bhoys on to a a memorable victory!!!
