I struggle to see us win the league if we continue without brining in defenders. We need to spent a good £3-5 million each on two defenders

I had a feeling that we were gonna make a mistake today, I didn't think we would looze the game after going 1 up, but I knew we would lose a goal, just with the way we were passing the ball about our back line at the start, Loovens & Caldwell's first touch was terrible & then the ball would break out & you had 3 players going for the one challenge to win it back again. When is the players going to learn our centre halves aren't good with the ball at there feet, so why try play one touch football with them? To many times today that happent & then the inevitable happent, a pass that Loovens never went for then Caldwell takes Jamie Mole down, gets sent off & Hearts are back in the game..

We had chances to win the game, & maybe should have won it, but if our defence was tighter today, then a 1-0 win would have done us, we deserved something out of the game but we come away with a defeat due to bad defending..

There was a thread about the Old Firm put up earlier in the week asking if Celtic could beat Rangers, in this form, we might score against them, but Rangers are more tighter at the back than we are, so will we win the Old Firm? Play like that, we have no chance! & its frustrating!

Come January first i hope we have 2 cb's in and ready to play in the old firm and the rest of the season, the other 3 just cant play anymore theyre ruining our chances of winning the league by making school boy errors,oh and i hope we never wear that kit again.

It amazes me that so many on here thought we would hump them today, on what premis is this?, its amazing really, every game we play we are one defensive blunder away from defeat, we struggled to beat a * motherwell team last week, and could have been humiliated on thursday, yes there are signs of improvement, but our defence is a disgrace, and fans really need to take a reality check when predicting we will hump ANY TEAM!:38:

I said at half-time when it was 1-1 that we could get something as long as the manager gets things spot on. Also now in hindsight although I knew we would create chances we bleeding needed to take them. I think the 2 clearest was Samaras open net (which was maybe quite difficult but no excuses, terrible finish) and Fortune who wimped out of that header/post.

Apart from I believe was a wrong decision (the pen) we should've won comfortably and we'd all be singing the praises. But I have to say I'm not convinved that Mowbray can work responsively. In the past when things change his plan B seems to be squeeze as many forwards on the park as possible, even at the expense of full-backs, which admittedly has worked in the past (Motherwell) but I just don't like it. It seems to relinquish too much possession of the ball and as we seen today Hearts just kept it and wasted time. The * referee didn't help either.

So all in all, a) bad ref decision / idiot centre-back b) (imo) bad management and c) bad finishing is in order the 3 things that cost us today.

We could probobly still have an old Laursen, Valgaeren and Balde that would do better than our current CBs.

We're so soft its unreal. It needs addressed or we wont win the league.

if loovens had controlled the ball and not let it run there would have been no pen. samaras, even though he scored had other chances to score and pass to other players in the team for goalscoring chances and failed every time.
basic errors at the back and no TEAMPLAY up front! if the hoops do not make some changes in the window we can forget winning anythig this season:31:

    My thoughts from through the game;

    - McDonald is a moaning faced little * and REALLY needs to change his attitude.
    - Craig Burley talks the biggest amount of * I've ever heard for a commentator/analyst/whatever the * he is supposed to be. He also hates Samaras with a passion and seems to think Fox is an experienced defender at the age of 23? Very good Craig.
    - We are * if our central defensive pairing is Loovens and Mick for any length of time. Loovens was coming onto a game and now looks like he's playing in boots made of lead at times, really slow off the mark and Mick is just not good enough.
    - The officiating was a joke. The ref blew for half time before 45 minutes when Caldwell had been sent off during the half and stopped play for at least 3 or 4 minutes, then blew for full time at 92 minutes on the dot when there had been 6 subs and numerous incidents were players were booked.

Lossed for words at the minute ffs,4 point behind the huns, alot of chances again our finishing let us down, our defence is or the worst in Scotland or the UK for that matter, this must be the worst celtic defence ever recorded
in our history,i cant blame Caldwell for todays sending off it was a 50/50 could have went either way
our luck ran out today, and i am very worried as the huns are hitting some form and will be looking make it 7 come jan3rd,we need to roll out sleeves up dig deep and get ready for the roller coaster 2nd half of the season
