    heres an update from Times Sport. just says Petkov is on his way tho...

    and that the funds are there for players even without the sale of petrov as i expected..the funds are always there we are a massive club after all and in the champs league nearly every year ffsk thats 10m in the bank minimun straight away +/ 60k fans every home game plus merchandise etc ,etc etc ,... we have hardly bust the bank this summer so far... its getting them to part with it is the main thing...as long as its quality over quantity .... promising tho.

    aye petkov is free agent he said other clubs are interested in him but hes only interested in talking to celtic.atm flying in this weekend supposedly.... think it would be only a matter of wages cant see him being on too much hes is 30-31yr old ... dunno what sort of wages he was on at Istanbulspor tho.

    man , renegade-t you are so negative in all you say ffsk ... do ya honestly think we can sign ashley cole for left back or sumthing ffsk... for europe .. we have to try and sign good pedigree / decent players to us .... were not gonna sign 20m rated players etc attract to the Spl some players yes but not like premeirship.... who are champs league top ... we have to work within our means and create a good side for the champs league ahead ... always gonna be tough anyone bar telfer and camara must be good ... sooo negative you are. get a grip.. are u actually a celtic fan ? just curious.

    I hope Petkov is a very good Left-back as we have found it very hard to fill that role in recent years but can't down the lad as he hasn't EVEN SIGNED yet but hopefully that will be sorted out by the weekend or by the next game we play in the SPL and by that time the bhoys will already have 3-points on the board:ynwacelti:ynwacelti

    It sounds as if he has been asked to attend for a trial and has got a bit carried away. Why would we wnat to sign a 30+ year old who has been released by a Turkish outfit no one has heard of? This is Camara all over again.

    Except this player has around 60 caps for Bulgaria has just left a TOP Turkish team and he is a LEFT BACK. Camara was in League 1 and I have no idea if he has any caps. Personally if signing this player means we can put Wilson to right back and get rid of Telfer then I'm all for it:celt_2:
