    in a perfect world m8 everything would run smoothly,people would get on with each other,people would agree with each other,

    but we know its not like that on every level of life,how many times have you dissed the orange walk or something you dont like,,so pot and kettle there bud.

    people love bobby sands for what he stood for and the way he died,people hate him for the same reasons

    it happens all over the world in every nook and cranny,

    so get used to it,THATS LIFE MY FRIEND

    i was in bulgaria a few years back and i was in a kareoke pub and there was a leathery dirty hun woman about and a celtic fan was singin FOA and she stood up and said '* yer bobby sands e's deed' even the rangers fanse hated her.

    i wouldn't let anything that these people(?) have to say get to me bud

    they're cracking the same tired old jokes over on rm yet i wonder what these creatures would say if they knew what the loyalist rank and file thought of him

    i'd post the loyalist reactions to the hungerstrikes over there now but i'd be banned before i got the joy of seeing how that would hit them!

    Exactly mate. A lot of loyalists - despite disagreeing about Sands' cause - actually admired his spirit and courage. However they'd never admit that to one another.

    the loyalists that were actually members of the u.d.a and u.v.f would though.i'll try and dredge up the video where billy mcquiston(u.d.a) is talking about the night bobby died.

    he was in a rangers club on the shankill drinking with another ex prisoner when the news came on and they were silent listening to it.and then some clown behind them shouts something about force feeding bobby a fish supper and mcquistons mate turned and panned him out.the u.d.a man told the big mouth he'd never be half the man bobby sands was , "that man was a soldier" !

    like you said bo'ness ,they didn't agree with his cause obviously but they admired the sacrifice .
