I really wish this guy would get more game time every time he plays he excites me , he walks past defenders as if they aren`t there and his finish today was simply class

Know what? I've slated his work rate, the fact he doesn't track back and the fact he goes missing for chunks of games.

Now though, I think I've came to the realisation you've just got to play the guy. He scores these goals every time he gets a chance, how long can you ignore the genius he brings and overlook the fact he can beat anyone and put it in the back of the net.

Lubo never tackled back and he is one of the greatest players to ever wear the hoops. I think it's time to just take the shackles off him and build a team around him being your luxury player.

Tempted to agree Hammer because it's not even as if it's * teams he does this against - he ripped Hamburg a new * last season.

Only worry is I've seen a few games where he's started and been immensely quiet. And with his lack of work-rate/defensive side it's like being a man down. So all in all I'd like him to be a regular 60th min substitute. No shame in that plus in theory defenders should be tired.

I`m surprised hes not already , how many times has he ripped the * out of defenders and not only that he puts the ball in the net after he does it.The only thing I wonder is if he is fit enough to do it for 90 minutes but I think its worth the risk.

p.s I would cream if he done what he did today against the huns :56:

think we have to start it at home when teams put 10 behind the ball, he can work wonders, away from home i wouldnt play him from the start.

the man has instincts, he doesn't give up, he can spot an inch perfect pass of greater than 5 yds, and he can finish. all things we've been lacking for the longest

Spot on. Basically he is the ideal supersub which is what Lubo was used as by MON. Being great supersub is not something to be ashamed of and IMO its a huge asset and important role. It just fits perfectly for a guy with huge talent but very poor stamina.

that goal was absolutely fantastic. if he ends up just being an impact player i wont be bothered if he does that every game.

I think the reception he got when he came on the pitch today gave him some balls today.

Exactly, he'll have much more of an impact as a supersub than if he starts every week because of his lack of stamina as that is al lhe lacks, he is a wonderful talent, rips any defender to shreds! :icon_mrgreen:

I'm not convinced this "lack of stamina" business still applies.

I think there's still a tendency to judge him on what he was like when he came here at first.
He was very unfit, and it's taken a while to get him in shape.

But now I think it's time to start with him. Give him a run in the team. That's the only way to get a player at peak match fitness - play him. If we give him a month or two, and at the end of it he isn't lasting the 90 mins, then rethink.

He's done more than enough to earn a start. :50:

I like the idea of using him as a supersub,he's totally made for that role.
Don't know if Paddy would welcome the idea though!
What a great impact player he is in that situation, coming off the bench, especially in tight games where he just seems to have the knack of unlocking the staunchest of defenses.

What a goal today Paddy:50:Keep the good work
