Looks interesting and has a large eclectic cast.

Be interesting to see how deep they go into his real life and how much they spin for Hollywood.

I don’t think the trailer looks great, but makes a change from basically being shown the entire movie.

The cast and the fact Cillian Murphy says it’s the best script he’s ever read is all I need to go see it.

** Small Spoiler alert seen it on Saturday. Far too long and could have been edited down to 2 hours easily. Its a biography of Oppenheimer as a person and the Manhattan Project is almost a side issue. There is a sense of build up to the testing, but for me it was a let down, even in 70mm. Would have liked to have seen more of the science behind the projects the successes and failures and the impact on the testing area in NM. The acting is fine, though you can only watch Murphy looking wistfully into the distance/ camera so often. RDJ plays a great foil, and Damon almost steals the show.

Good film, not a patch on Inception, Interstellar, Memento, The Dark Night or The Prestige though.

    A solid 8/10.

Average as * I thought. Not much in the way of suspense and as said above, could’ve been edited down to 2 hrs. If I’m sitting through a 3 hour film I expect some sort of payoff for it but it wasn’t really worth it. Interesting story all the same. Odd to have so many top actors shoe-horned in for the sake of it. Scott Grimes is a pretty big actor in his own right and I don’t think he had a single word in the film, could’ve easily been played by a nobody extra. A middling 6/10 film.

Just back from seeing it, really disappointed to be honest.

Last Podcast on the Lefts recent series on the Manhatten Project was so much more engaging.

I really struggled with how long it was but thought it really picked up in the last 45mins to an hour. Great cast and I was into it but thought it could have been trimmed a bit!

The tv show Manhattan does a great job of showing the science involved

It wasn't so much the science as the drama of the science wasn't really touched on.
