Why dont we do it with the League or Cups?

I think we should start doing it to rub it in to other teams and to milk more publicity and money from sponsors. No reason not to! Sky Sports and news people would probably come out to video it, someone might sponsor it to have their name on the bus and a lot of fans might buy flags etc to wave.

Could start at Celtic Park and go along through Bridgeton along up to George Square, do a lap of that and back along the Gallowgate to Celtic Park.

We should start doing it every time we win a Trophy, Barca, Real Madrid, Bayern, Dortmund, Ajax, Turkish teams and that all do it, mind last year or the year before Sergio Ramos dropped the Spanish Cup off one lol

I would give Brigdeton a detour, dont think there will be many green and white jester hats and a party atmosphere there somehow :smiley-laughing002:

    Why not though?

Not all fans can afford to go and see the Trophies won at the matches, so should they never see the players celebrating?

Would you be embarassed at your team celebrating their trophy win?

'Fans' are moaning about the post match celebrations on Saturday, so I think that an open top bus on a freezing, windy, drookit night in Glasgow (close to Bridgeton X) would be a damp squib! Simples!

It's sad that in this day and age we can't (or the powers that be believe we can't) have a trophy parade through a city centre without violence/disruption.

There would never be a better place to sing the Celtic Symphony either as the Bus was on the road again, on its way to Paradise :smiley-laughing002: especially if a few fans had spray painted "up the celts" and "we're magic" on the walls along the route lol

We can't do it for the very obvious reason we are a club which resides in Glasgow, which resides in Scotland.

A backwards little backwater full of horrible, horrible * that would ruin the opening of a letter never mind a Bus Parade.

Is anyone of the opinion that a Sevco open top trophy parade would go almost unchallenged on the streets, whereas a Celtic open top trophy parade would attract "organised" protests?

That is my opinion, and it speaks volumes for half of Glasgow and not the entire city.

I think that would be true. We do have a few * holes around but nowhere near as many as them.

The police and council allow the orange walk (*) to march up and down the streets. Why not this?

I cant remember any and havent heard of any, only one I can think of was when we had one round Celtic Park with the European Cup.

I think that year too a lot of fans lined the streets when they brought the Cup home from the airport but it wasnt a parade or anything.

I'd love to see it happen but don't think it'd be allowed.
