Olivier Ntcham

Discussion in 'Ex Players' started by Norm Peterson, Jul 12, 2017.

  1. Being in and out of the squad definitely doesn't help him. I'd like to see him get a run of games in his natural position (CM) and see if he would be able to cement his starting place.

We definitely need to experiment with the midfield 3 because it's just not clicking at the minute and defensively teams are bypassing our midfield too easily.

Edouard leaving isn’t a monetary decision for us. We don’t NEED to sell anyone at the moment.

If anything, two of our better players leaving, one who is probably his best friend here would unsettle him.

Unfortunately that just about sums his time here up. He’s too inconsistent and unreliable. Don’t get me wrong, he’s immensely talented, but sometimes I wonder what’s going on between his ears. With his ability and physique he should absolute boss every game he plays domestically.

West Brom are interested in Celtic's Olivier Ntcham - but will move for Benfica star Filip Krovinovic instead, according to reports.

Storylines like that ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^are the worst * clickbait i have ever seen...pointless * that puts you off going near anything else they print....ever.

People were crying out for Neil Lennon to give this guy more game time, well they got what they wanted and he's been very underwhelming. Yes he can be a very good player, but any chance of showing it?

Think people give him unfair judgement. He’s a creative player but if nobody is moving around he can’t really create much. Don’t think he done any worse than other midfielders

I thought he was not bad in 1st half, but them absolute woeful 2nd.

Defo the one I'd cash in on.

When it comes to Ntcham, I don’t think the question is if we have to because of finances, it’s if it comes to being the best time to do so.

It’s similar to when we sold Ki just now for me, clearly talented, can be outstanding, worth a lot but probably worth more to others than he is to us just now.

He frustrates me so much. Talent wise, I think he should be better than McGregor. McGregor is streets ahead, not even a competition. For how he can be as a player and what he can do, it shouldn’t be like that.

Happily swap him for a half decent left back. Doesn’t do it remotely enough

Gave it away then got booked straight after and that kinda summed him up..

Honestly don’t see why some are shouting for him to get starts.

He is so inconsistent. Yes he can be excellent on his day but that’s not often enough.

Reminds me of Samaras. One minute he can be world class and the next minute you are pulling your hair out because they can’t even do the basics.

Wasnt great today. But many were in the same boat.

I still feel like he is worth persisting with. I've said it before but for me he isnt a player who benefits from the constant in and out of the side routine.

Hes not really had a consistent run, even when doing things right.

One bad game and he is one of the first to be slated. I dont think he will ever win here.

  16. I rate him highly but he needs to start offering more..

If no then we may as well cash in on him..

It's not one bad game though. Nearly every game he plays is a bad game. Mostly strolls about the middle and the game passes him by. He's been here long enough now to have shown us what he can do and what he's shown is that he's not good enough.

    I disagree.

Dont think it's fair to say nearly every game he plays is a bad one. At all.

On one flip side he has one good game then is dropped for 2 or 3. That doesnt help.
