Nice cardbord box!! lol seriously tho, we have a good chance of getting six points from FCK, but lets not start getting complacent, they just put out Ajax and obviously deserve to be in there. Theyre a good side, but im confident we can beat them twice.

if we can win 1 away game in the CL .. it would be this one of the 3... and if we can do that and pick up 3 points away from home then we have a superb chance tbh... wont be easy tho ... but we can do it ...

    im hoping ...

    Man u vs Celts ( draw) optimistic (1 pt) or ( 0pt)
Celts vs Benfica ( win) 3pt
Celts vs Copenhagen ( win)( 3 pt.)
    Celts vs Man u ( draw) 1pt
    Benfica vs Celts ( draw) or defeat. ( 1 pt) / (0pt)
Copenhagen vs Celts ( draw) 1pt.

possibly 9 or 10 points there ... hopefully that wud take us thru if all goes according to plan would love to win 1 game away from home tbh... all depends on other teams taking points off each other tho we could even qualify with less points tbh....

    FCK's starting eleven:

GK: Jesper Christiansen - former Rangers, is the second choice in the Danish national team.

RB: Lars Jacobsen - Danish int.
LB: Andre Bergdølmo - Former AJAX and Dortmund, 74 caps for Norway, over the hill.
CB: Michael Gravgaard - Danish int.
CB: Brede Hangeland - Norweigan int.

MR: Michael Silberbauer - A few appearances for the Danish national team.
CM: Tobias Linderoth - Midfield general and vice captain in the Swedish national team, possibly the best midfielder in the Scandinavian leagues.
CM: Atiba Hutchinson - Canadian int.
ML: Jesper Grønkjær - Danish int, former Chelsea, Ajax and Atletico Madrid.

FC: Marcus Allbäck - Swedish int, 23 goals in 56 caps for Sweden.
FC: Fredrik Berglund - A few appearances for the swedish national team.

They are decent side but you have a good chance of collecting 6 points against em imo.

It remains to be seen how Linderoth will perform in a competition like the Champions League. He was crap in his few years in the Prem with Everton.

He's only ever doen the business in Scandinavia so if he is the best midfielder in the side Celtic should be realistically looking at 4 or 6 points here.

Michael Graavgard is supposed to be the next big defender, Real Madrid and Sevilla have been chasing him all summer.

Don't forget Ailton has joined them now.

Aye that`s true, just seen the fixture list there..Copenhagan (away) is our last game! I have a feeling that will be the game we have to win to get through.

Unfortunately your spot on with your history but if we are to be able to get through to the last 16 we need to beat Copenhagen hopme and away.

    greating from copenhagen

    Hi Celtic fans.

I’m looking forward to playing your side in the Champions League, and visiting Celtic Park.

ManU is without doubt the favorite to win our group! You and Benfica must be favorites for the second and third place –it’s our first champion’s league appearance, which is to your advantaged, but I think Copenhagen might surprise, we have a very physical team, they are very dangerous in corner- and free kick situations, and almost all our players play for their national teams (so they have a bit of experience playing international).
The Danish league is a bit like the Scottish, we have 2 teams that always fight for first and second place (FC Copenhagen and Brøndby), and as in Scotland (in my opinion anyway) the reason is that the money gap to 3 place is huge.

We played Rangers in 2003, where they qualified for the champion’s league by beating us 3-2 (1-1 in Glasgow, and 1-2 in Copenhagen). There is only one player left from the team, and our team is a great deal better now, so I hope we will be able to cause you and Benfica some difficulty ;)

Our stadium is called Parken, and its capacity is about 40.000. It’s located in the centre of Copenhagen, around 2 kilometers form Cityhall and the main square - so to all of you whom are think of coming, you will be able to drink all day and go straight to the stadium ;).

The fan club I called FCKFC www.fckfc.dk and the forum website is www.sidelinien.dk – almost all Danes speak and write English, so feel free to leave a note.

Have a good weekend; see you in Scotland and Copenhagen.
