I'll hopefully get the chance to see it.

I do worry that it should have been left in the past though.

Aye it has had its day but i'm sure it will be better than most the American crap that Sky and Channel 4 show constantly.

    This.

I'll no doubt have a look anyway, but some things are best left alone.

Wee joke in it about Rangers "I used to be a Rangers fan during the Craig Whyte era, I'm used to being gang-banged" :smiley-laughing002:

Not a bad episode, Rab becomes somewhat of a revolutionary socialist!

[Getting a social housing assessment, trying to pass off a spare bedroom as a study]
"It's a garage, he parks his mobility scooter here."
"I tell ya it's murder getting it up them stairs!"

Thought it was alright, addressed some of the issues facing the poor working class at the moment.

It was current and that's all you can ask for.

Parts of it were funny and as others have said, it was made relevant.

Ian Pattison is a good writer, I just can't see much longevity in it though, it's from a different time.

I thought it was decent as well.

Amazing that the issues which the original series was based upon, are now resurfacing in the last 5 years.

Couple of good lines, "I`ve got shaggers hip" and the bit about being a hun.
