Can you tell me what Billic's experience is apart from the Croatia national team? Im sorry but good International managers do not make good club managers

  2. Time for a manager who picks the select team based on the fact we are the best team in Scotland. None of this picking a team to suit the opposition, they should fear us and have to bend ot suit our formation.

    Well said.

I would like to see what Levein would do with some cash seeing as he built a very strong Dundee United team using next to nothing. Plus he knows something Strachan didn't, how to pick a team to play the huns.

Im about to head to bed and when i wake up tomorrow, I hope theres a press conference set for 11am, and Marco Van Basten or Claudio Ranieri are unveiled as new manager, and that they will be given 7mill to spend on the squad. I would happily have a * in the middle of my office.

Sadly, I reckon on Friday afternoon, Mark Mcghee will be unveiled and be given a 2mill budget and will bring Stephen Hughes and Bob Malcolm to parkhead.

Some would say im negative, I would agree. Iv got a bad feelng wer going to pick a right plum

I'd go for Moyes given the choice but expect Levein.

Villareal CF have today announced the sacking of Chilean coach Manuel Pellegrini, after Spanish police last night arrested Pelligrini and three anoymous others in a drugs raid three miles from the Estadio El Madrigal. :50:

See what the outcome is and go for him! The Chilean has worked magic there over the years....and he gets the teams playing a good passing game, different style that would suit our midfield, if we want to be realistic though probably Levien, he seems to pick up good players with little or no money

    Realistic

So strachan has done it, he has finally resigned. Now the question is on every Celtic supporters lips at the moment, who next?

The names have been flying around but I feel we must rule out the very unlikely. David Moyes, currently managing in the best league in the world with a great team and great fans plus has just signed a five year contract showing his loyalty to the club and supporters. Owen Coyle, has just got his team promoted to the best league in the world and has also denied reports linking him with the job.

These 2 have been the more popular of the wishes but we must not forget one thing, the board.
Over the past years we have been pleading with them to spend some money but I still doubt things are about to change. With the bookie's favourite being Mark McGhee and another likely possibility Craig Levein, if they were to take over the reigns the board would once again be hardly breaking the bank to appoint them or offer them a mass amount of money to spend on transfers.

Don't get me wrong, I really do hope we can get someone in that would do great for Celtic, and who knows McGhee? Levein? Mowbray? could all do well but I just think an apology for the loss of the league title to our greatest rivals would be to appoint a high profile, tactically genius of a manager to take the trophy back to paradise

    hail hail :celt_2:

I'm not to sure who will be next manager , but as long as he gets a good board and fans backing and has great football intelligence , i will be happy:shamrock::celt_2:

I think someone from Eastern Europe would be good.

    Coyle or Mowbray for me.

I think it will be Mowbray, as Coyle is tied to Burnley after their play off success.

Moyes would be great but no chance, it will probobaly be coyle but i cant believe nobody on this forum has mentioned, what i thought would be an obvious choice......jansen & larsson. Just think the man who stopped 10 and the king together again, and we could play henrik for another couple of seasons and hed still be top scorer in league while he gets coaching badges and goes on to become manager after wee Wim. I suppose there would need to be a role for murdo too.
