I thought it was ok. Nothing special but still better than a lot of the * that’s on Netflix these days.

  2. Need your Irish VPN on for this Netflix film lol but Birth of the Dragon about the 'true' story of Bruce Lee's 1964 fight with Master Wong Something or Other was actually great fun. I fully expected it to be a load of Martial Farts but it was very enjoyable..7/10

p.s. I think they may have taken a few liberties with the word 'true'

Enjoyed the Six Nations series on Netflix. Slowly making my way through the Alexander The Great series now.

Not a rugby fan but thought the six nations series was great. It’s strange how some sports work better than others with these type of shows. I prefer golf and tennis to rugby and F1 but those series were nowhere near as good.

I think golf and tennis are difficult to do in the format they're using.

With Drive To Survive you have every single F1 team and every driver at every single race. With the tennis series they have a bunch of different players at different tournaments throughout the year, and they also have a lot of top players not properly involved in the series, Djokovic for example.

Not sure what platform you can watch it on but Blue Lights was really good. Think season 2 is due out within the next few months. If you liked Line Of Duty you’ll like this I reckon, even though they’re very different shows. Both cop dramas

I was amazed how much a movie influenced the narrative

  15. House of ninja's on Netflix. I'm liking it. Mystery, drama with a bit of comedy and some swords through people's hearts! Set in Osaka.

  17. Yeah lol. To be fair, they also make a lot of crap as well...lots of badly acted cheesy romance bollocks...it's like filtering for gold!

Love your Kim Jong Lawell pic..very apt!

Finished all 4 seasons of Black Sails, excellent show set around the golden age of piracy (which I love) and is a prequel to The Tresure island novel. Really enjoyed it, 1st season is abit rough in terms of budget but still good and it only gets better in the following seasons especially 3 and 4 and it even has a satisfying conclusion.
The show is filled with complex characters who are well written especially Captain Flint who is up there some of the best characters I've seen in television.

    Currently watching that as well.

Just about to start season 4. It’s quite good but have to say, during most of season 3 I was on my phone or background watching - just felt a drop off from season 2.
