Came to Glasgow yesterday and just now had a tour of Celtic Park and the SuperStore. Magic! Got myself a shirt with Reo on the back and a curious friend got Larsson.

Glasgow is already amazing, and Saturday is yet to come. Buzzing!

Did that this time last year mate and had the best weekend ever with my family.

I made a thread at the time called 'just a weekend in Paradise'

I regret not taking a bus tour of Glasgow, am looking to try and squeeze in a trip this year too

Hope you have a great time while you're here. Be sure to check in along the Gallowgate, loads of Celtic bars et al along there, Bairds for instance, all part of the Glasgow/Celtic experience. :50:

And even though it's been roughly 20 years since the last time I did the tour, good to know it is still worthwhile and giving a great experience for you! :)

Was at the Sportsbar couple of months ago, cool place, but I do think they could have gone for bigger screens and a bit more sports focused. Found it a cool place to watch an away game, just think it would have a bit more potential.

Lots of people went on a stadium tour while our game was on. Pretty weird, isn't the match much more relevant for a supporter than a stadium tour? :giggle1: Most were Scottish so it's not like the couldn't come at another time.

And the guys giving the tour in their cheap suits seemed to be a bit overdressed. Must be a Scottish thing too :D

Nearly forgot to mention: Go to the Paesano if you like Pizza, there's one in the City Centre and one in the West End. Prices went up since covid but it's still fantastic quality pizza for a reasonable price (£10-13)! One of the best I have ever eaten outside Italy

    I like Mcchuills, Murphy's, or Connolly's personally.

    Enjoy your week here

There's a few around the Merchant City, that have been mentioned. If you want live music, there are a few more elsewhere too.

Still remember Kenny Dalglish holding press conferences there when he was in charge. Sad to say it's gone.

The place used to have personality, with Lions like Bertie Auld frequenting it. I grew up in he 90's and mostly went during the late 90's- early 2000's, but you just don't see that nowadays.

I got to know the staff at Hoops better when I had a season ticket though.

Welcome Leone! You're clearly just as big (if not bigger) of a supporter as all us natives and you deserve nothing less than an amazing time.

Hope the Bhoys put on a show for you on Saturday!
