More Signings expected!!

Thanks to the SSM and his shrewd running of our club, at this moment in Celtic’s history we could not be in better shape. Recent financials have been released, revealing an almost insignificant amount of debt, Celtic are being run properly. Clearly we are in a sound and strong position to continue our domination of Scottish football for many years to come.

Despite this and the fact Celtic have been equally dominant out on the pitch, it seems most fans are looking for improvement in terms of new signings. So far this window, investment in the team has been restricted and the fans are still awaiting a truly exciting acquisition.

No doubt the new players that have arrived so far will give Gordon Strachan added options but will they take Celtic on to the next level? That is the question most fans are asking themselves.

Georgios Samaras aside, Celtic fans are not too familiar with the recent recruits and time will tell if they do have that wee bit of extra quality to take us on.

Perhaps with all our success we are getting greedy, there is a real sense of expectation amongst the fans to kick on and achieve our goals. Retaining the SPL is as always the priority but reaching the last 8 of the Champions league for the first time would mark significant improvement.

More recruits are certain to join before the window slams shut and Celtic fans wait with anticipation to see who will be next to join the champions.
