7 games, 5 wins and 2 draws so far this season.

Seems that he has a nack for getting teams out of that division, notoriously hard one at that. He has spent next to nothing as well, it's almost an identical team to that of last seasons when he struggled big time.

Can't help but still have some affection for the big chap, he was a woeful manager for us but he still loves the club. Always look out for Boro's results.

An * in what respect? He couldn't handle being Celtic manager but an '*' is certainly something he is not.

Aye he 'only' managed to get West Brom promoted, top of the league at first time of asking with litte dosh spent  Time will tell if that remains the only time he gets a side out of that league but he has started in the correct fashion.

you said he had a nack for getting teams out of that league, i'm saying he's only done it once, hardly a nack is it?

also "top of the league at first time of asking", what?

I am delighted to see that the big man is beginning to turn things round down there. I'd love to see him take Middlesbrough back up again.

He came here to be our manager and it didn't work out. That's football sometimes. But I still have a * of a lot of time for Mogga and wish him well in all his future endeavours. I'll never say a bad word about the guy.

Where did I say he had a nack? I seemed it 'seems' he does given he took WBA up within 1 season and is now on course to do the same with Boro in his first full season. Would you not then agree that it 'seems' he has a nack for get teams out the league, no?

The man spoke about honour, dignity and principle. Traits he certainly didn’t exhibit when pestering the club for a ridiculous severance package.

You wouldn’t mind an honest manager demanding a fair settlement, but this guy’s record was so abysmal it put Barnes to shame; and yet he still felt he should have been paid off handsomely despite leaving the club in an absolute mess.

There is nothing honourable about that.

lol are you at it? "Seems that he has a nack", i'm saying he's done it once, bit premature to say it seems he has a nack.

i'll wait till the seasons a bit older before i start thinking he has a nack for getting teams promoted.

he's on course for * all with 'Boro, the seasons just started.

thank *, i was starting to believe you were stupid enugh to think that a manager who got WBA promoted at the second attempt, finished 12th last season despite being in charge for 34 games and is currently top after 7 games seems to have a nack for getting teams promoted.

Totally assanine calling Mowbray an "*" or a "* manager." he's a good manager, the celtic job was too much for him. He's also a Celtic man through and through. GBTM.

Tony Mowbray has an outstanding record in the Championship.

His first season with West Brom he took them all the way to the play-off final at Wembley.

His second season they were promoted as champions - and reached the FA Cup semis to boot. That was despite being under financial pressure, and bringing in more money from transfers than he spent.

His third (part) season in the Championship was last year with Boro. When Mowbray took over, 13 games into the season, they were one point off rock bottom. Under him, they finished in the top half of the table, again with * all funds.

Now in his first full season there, they are clear at the top of the table after seven games, only undefeated club in the division.

How any one can knock his record in that league is beyond me.

Delighted he's doing well, always comes across as a great guy.

The insults are way off the mark.

It didn't work out for him at Celtic but he's done excellently in the Championship.

    Agree 100%

I didnt fancy him as Celtic boss and he did a poor job in my opinion, but he seems like a good guy and a very hard worker, and a celtic man who really cared about the club. Good luck to him. No need for insults.
