6th febrauary- huns away in the scottish cup , if we win we put them out the cup and theyre treble is fineto.
20th february - if we beat them we could go from maybe 2-6 points clear , anyone else think if we do the double on them there season is up in the air?

Mate , Im sure you will find it's an "unprecedented" quadruple that they are going for.. :icon_mrgreen:

Never good to look too far ahead , especially when we are the team that failed to see out a 2-0 lead at home with 20 minutes to go , and also when we are at the mercy of the SFA's officials..

If they win 3IAR then any other cup will not matter a * because they have won the league. No point talking about they're season will be finished in feb, have you not learnt from past seasons. Come back in may when we have to play them for the last time then we aill chat about it:bbpd:

League is priority. Cup defeat would be sore to take but I'd rather beat Aberdeen this week than win the cup game.

We could put the Reserves out against them in the Cup and kick * out their players, injured 2/3 of them and then cruise to the League :)

Just kick * out of wattty:56: that would do it.
But joking aside....there is * miles to go yet but humping them out of the cup would be a very nice start.
But i dont think it will be so easy for us next time in hunvill.

Not really, a loss to Rangers in the cup would hurt less than losing the league to them.

    Depends what the alternative is.

If I could secure one result for us, I'd secure the cup game, because we are odds-on to beat the dons anyway. But if it's a straight choice between losing the cup game but getting three points, and winning the cup game but dropping three points, I'd probably take the league points.

League's just more important than the Cup - not least because it's the only gateway to the Champions League.

dont like when this kinda talk comes up, there is every chance they could ruin our season with they 2 games, i personaly think we have blown it already because of the 6 points dropped at home last month, unless they slip up 2 with their games in hand

I'm just as worried playing the other teams just now. But 3 wins in a row against them may ruin their morale

would obviously be a monumental achievement if we won the two games, both psychologically and in terms of winning trophies. but you can't speak to soon, we could put rangers out of the cup and then lose in the next round. and we've seen in the past that in the league its not over till its literally over, so winning the next OF would by no means secure anything.
