I'd be saying the same thing Dubsbhoy, but i feel that a club like Celtic in a league like the SPL where everyone wants a piece of you, players dont need anymore reason than that to fired themselves up and they should be for every match regardless of whats at stake.

Everytime someone puts on the Hoops they should be fired up. It's totally unacceptable if they are not.

The irony of your post Dempsey is that Aiden is one of the few players with the talent at Celtic to use both feet comfortabley. Many of our £30,000 a week superstars are incapable of this.

Thanks for the link for the story Dempsey-McGeady can only get better now and with Roy Keane There now he can get a Lot better Keane should have a word with him(lenny as well) to make him more into a ball-winner tell him to get stuck in there and don't be afraid of making hefty challenges+with him being a playmaker put that to his game and no-one will stop him when hes playing,Can't forget that misas he made when we were losing 2-0 to Bratislava his goal could have got us into Europe if we got bet 5-1 but thats in the past,All the bhoys better have there fingers out for Staurday's Match Against Kilimarock hopefuly we can score a few goals as well

I was referring to his chance against Clyde where it would have been easier to use his left foot. Comfortable my *.:84:

The same against Bratislava as well he could have scored easy but that left foot again,The good thing about bringing Keane to CP is Keane can Toughen McGeady up more

    That about sums it up.
Until he came on we didn't even look like making a chance

It was more down to Clyde getting tired that we started creating chances

Is that what it was. Nothing to do with someone who could run at them and put them on the back foot, silly me.

Nakamura, Pearson, Wallace are all players that can run at players, they couldnt put them on the back foot. It took fresh players against tired legs to create chances.

I dont think its too late for McGeady, he is a good player and could come back, * look at Maloney last season or not too long ago he was struggling before he had that injury look at him now, one of the best players so far this season, its up to McGeady when he gets more chances in the future to grab it, dont write him off! :86:

I'm not writing him off, I'm just making a dig at him for not using his left foot when he should have against Clyde.

All of them can but none of them did, McGeady can and did. Thats the difference.
Aiden has become the latest victim of the boo bhoys who ignore all the good things he does and howl derisions at him for the slightest of mistake. I don't put you in this bracket but i feel he needs defended.

I do think McGeady is a good player, it's why his name is on the back of my away jersey. i was just making a dig at him over that the team decided to fire themselves up for the Killie game because they got toasted by Clyde. They should always be fired up, every game, every minute.

Our higher Fitness levels and their fatigue help him cut them open. They were playing at a high tempo, for Clyde, for alot of the match.

I don't think it's possible to be "in the zone" for every game as much as we may dislike that. When you beat teams time and time again comfortabley I think it is impossible not to get complacent. When they play a league or cup game I'm sure the players are still determined but in big games like OF's of CL the adrenalin is pumping and this makes for a different mentality.

I didn't say it was easy but Man Utd did it for years, getting results regardless of performance. Chelsea are doing it now. I think we should be able to to this in the SPL. Need to invest in defenders though
