McGeady row

Discussion in 'Celtic Chat' started by mickr45, Dec 15, 2008.

  1. No doubt there is something in this.Expect crowds to plummit if McGeady is forced out the door .This would be a mistake of biblical proportions as we should be building the team around his type of talent.

    hail hail

  2. Ask yourself this mate .Have Celtic got an important game coming up ?

  3. Meh, just a match coming up against some two-bit club that we seem to stumble against when away

  4. aaaaaaaaaaalways when we come to play rankers the bullshit starts to roll out.

I'm waiting for the "strachan seen at the stadium of light" and "Boruc invited to watch Milan game"

I'll believe it when i see it happen. until then its just the usual old-firm build up bull-*

  5. yes we only go to parkhead to support mcgeady.. personnally i dont care if we sell him as long as we get a decent 6-7 million for him ( anybody that thinks hes worth more than that needs to get a grip). The guy has a bad attitude and cares more about going out in the town and living the high life. He doesnt have the right attitude to ever be the player he could be.

  6. What's all this??? When did this happen??

Any reliable sources?? I'm not talking about Daily Record or any other *...

  7. better players have left celtic and we've moved on. £8mil+ :bbpd::bbpd:

  8. It would be very interesting too see what everyones opinion of mcgeady is,,especially davies(timpark)after his chance meeting with the guy.

It does appear that most think hes an arrogant big time charlie,im not so sure, its just the way he celebrates when he scores for us he seems to be quite shy and retiring in his celebrations......thoughts everyone?

  9. Mate hes worth double that. If hutton and cueller can leave for 8 million mcgeadys worth more. easy

  10. I like the wee man but we got to think of the club as a whole if he goes then we will move on as we have when stan, larsson and even maloney moved on. I think its alot of hype without much substance tbh. Put it this way a result against the huns and a good performance from McGeady (which he rarely has against the huns) will tuck the issue safely up in bed.

  11. Agreed. I still think he holds on the the ball tOO long. Very frustrating.

No doubt better players have moved on but at this precise moment in time we have no better players and if you think that any monies will be spent on a replacement your in for a shock. The team is as classless as i can ever remember and to loose a player of his calibre due to a clash of personalities is not where we should be going.Lawell needs to take a long hard look at this as if the present trend continues you will not be able to give season tickets away next season.

  12. It's too early for that. They'll keep all the nonsence for next weeks rags.

    I think there's something in this! :54:

  13. Maloney was brought back to fill McGeady's boots IMO.
I don't think WGS (or Pendry for that matter) particularly likes McGeady as a person and Celtic's No.2, Neil Lennon, had quite a few on field bust ups with Aiden remember so I don't think he'll have great backing from within the management team.
    Maybe off in January......:87:

  14. I dont believe in any of this row pish never have its just the media trying to get a story and stir it up.

There must be something in it. I wonder if his off-field activities have anything to do with this?
