Celtic's Aiden McGeady has been named Clydesdale Bank Premier League player of the month for February. The 21-year-old Republic of Ireland midfielder earned a series of rave reviews for his displays last month.
Celtic won all four of their league matches in February, with McGeady scoring in the 5-1 win at Aberdeen.
McGeady won the same award for his performances in November and is sure to be a leading contender for the various player of the year honours.

Great to see the wee man doing the biz and getting the recognition he deserves. He's worked immensely hard on his game and is getting the full benefit. Legend in the making :celt_2: :shamrock:

I voted for him, there was no1 else it could be. Well done Aiden.

you can tell he has won over the fans as we are always singing about him even when he hasn't done anything, just like boruc & larsson

Good good i hope to * he wins both prizes this year so i can stop hearing about 'Wee Shaun' and his 1 season of wonder. McGeady is ten times the player.

Yup well done but this is also a bad thing, now means every game we play he has like 2 or 3 markers as soon as a ball is near him! :54:

Really must be something to be a mad * from Glasgow and actually play for the tic.

Played against him a few times, people always said " you seen that kid, they say he is gonna go all the way!"

    True enough.

I just hope he has got that perfectionous drive in him,he could be great

Speedy McGeady they called him whenever they said 'he's the next big thing' played against him as well and he was better than anything on the park by miles if not a bit greedy. The time's came in his development where he realises how much the correct pass/cross can be as effective as the 2 footed drag back.
