No hope of this ever coming off. Espanyol's main transfer target and Madrid is looking €15m at least.

I only knew that because anything to do with Madrid tends to catch my eye after living there for two years.

I'm no fan of Atlético Madrid, for obvious reasons; but personally I dislike Real more (as far as Madrid clubs go, Rayo Vallecano all the way ) and it speaks volumes about European football that Real's appeal was successful and Atlético's wasn't.
