Luis Palma has already passed the medical exams and knows when he will be presented with Celtic of Scotland

The Honduran footballer will arrive in Scotland before the transfer market closes.

There are very few details missing before the signing of Luis Palma with Celtic Glasgow is completed , where they are already waiting for him to present him as a figure.

The transfer of the Honduran from Aris of Greece to the Scottish champion is practically complete after the 23-year-old winger passed the medical tests successfully on Monday.

The Honduran forward is waiting to go to Great Britain finalizing the last documents of his transfer to be presented...

TEN learned EXCLUSIVELY that Palma underwent a clinical review in Dubai, United Arab Emirates , in order to expedite the procedures requested by the club to finalize the operation, since the player is still awaiting authorization to travel to the United Kingdom.

'El Bicho' Palma, who scored 13 goals and 8 assists in the previous semester, will land in Glasgow between Wednesday and Thursday, the day the transfer market closes in Europe and the paperwork is expected to complete the contract.

Palma will arrive in Lennoxtown in the next 72 hours in order to recognize what will be his new home, where he could use the number '7' since the number '17' he requested is not available; Celtic offered him the mythical number.

Honduran Luis Palma will become the fifth most expensive transfer for a national footballer after Celtic paid 4.1 million euros for the native of La Ceiba.

Watched quite a lot the way he plays and really looking forward to seeing him in the hoops.

He looks to have a lovely touch, capable of carrying the ball inside or outside past the defender and a ping on him as well. Will also give us a set piece threat.

I think a key to us changing our fortunes this season is to get the ball to our wide players quicker and when they are in space. its clear our play has lacked purpose and intensity.

Christ, now he's literally being given Celtic FC? Lawwell has lost the plot.

Doesn't look like he likes to beat his man, that's worrying.

  8. I’ve watched up to 2 minutes, he’s set up a goal and beat his man with a cheeky lob and then near 2 minutes took someone on around the box to hit a shot

If this one goes thru and theres no reason it wont then BR still needs to address the other key positions we need upgraded prior to the window closing, Id like to see a CB, LB and Striker thru the door, still think Hart is a quality keeper, prone to a few mistakes. With 4 days left what quality of keeper is still available?

  11. Yeah second video

Think that's just because Aris would've been underdogs in the tie so probably just been asked to keep possession when they get on the ball. But a goal and an assist against them is decent.

Former Celtic star Emilio Izaguirre revealed he personally told Brendan Rodgers what 'dynamic' Luis Palma would bring to the Hoops.

The Honduran international is set to make his bow at Ibrox this week in the Old Firm derby against Rangers after he completes a £3.5 million move to Glasgow.

And his countryman Izaguirre - who had two spells at Celtic and won seven league titles, three Scottish Cups and two League Cups - has revealed he had a big part to play in the deal.

Izaguirre, who is now the sports director of Motagua, said:

I am proud that the president of Celtic trusted me - he talked to me along with Brendan Rodgers. It's great that another Honduran will be playing in the Champions League. It's nice I have been able to open doors. I think Luis has everything.

He's a dynamic player and a great dribbler. He can beat a man and put the ball in the box. He is also a player who will improve and enhance his skills. I have already spoken to him. I have been advising him and I have made available the connections of the people who can help him in everything in Scotland. He already knows what he has to do and what not to do. Celtic set the bar high. Brendan Rodgers previously won the treble and Celtic fans are always looking for that. I feel proud that I was able to advise Celtic. I have always kept close to the president and scouts there who were colleagues of mine.

Different positions and all that but if he’s half the play Izzy was when he came here first he’ll do

No way will he start on Sunday. The players we have dont have a clue what system we are trying to play, so what chance has he?

I did think of that, however, I'd like to think a confident winger would want to show what he can do. We'd want jota to try and beat Kyle Walker but we'd still be underdogs.

I’d give my left nut sack for a prime Izzy in this time, he was unplayable before his injury.

  20. Prime Izzy, was a wonderful sight to behold.

Could defend and get stuck in, but in attack could skin players for fun.

Then injury happened and the rest is history.

    Still love the guy though.

Any chance this new lad could just swim over here at least?
