    Ioan Varga, the owner of the Transylvanian club, claims that there are several teams interested in the striker and that he can get as much as 18 million euros in exchange for him .

    Celtic made an 8 million euro offer for Louis Munteanu
    One of the teams interested in Louis Munteanu would be Celtic, the multiple Scottish champions, who have made an official offer for the former youth international.

    According to Iamsport , Celtic made an offer of 8 million euros for Louis Munteanu, but CFR Cluj rejected it.

    Ioan Varga wants more than double in exchange for Louis Munteanu and to keep percentages in a possible resale.


    CFR Cluj played three games this season, the Supercup with FCSB, 1-2, the round with Paski, 0-0, and the first round of the Super League, 2-1 with Unirea Slobozia, and Louis Munteanu did not play at all. The striker did not even train with the team during this period.

    The striker's return could occur in the return match against Paksi, scheduled for Thursday, at 8:30 PM, live on Digi Sport 1

    I might be wrong, but I’d be shocked if there’s a player been sold from that league for anywhere close to what they’re looking for.

    1 senior cap and no CL football. Not a chance they’ll get that fee.

    No chance they get that amount.

    Would definitely take him. If we are paying that much for a central striker either Maeda is going, or he's back out left permanently.

    Eh, not hugely impressed by the highlight reel to be honest. Looks a bit clumsy and - dare I say it - similar to Idah.

    Got the total opposite vibe tbh.

    I haven't seen Idah do most of the hold up/linking of the play he shows. Looks more technical and also seems to be comfortable drifting wide.
