Rodgers isn't really helping the situation in all honesty. Constant updates just give the situation more exposure. Given it's unlikely to change I'd just let it lie and see who wants to buy him in the summer.

The board should have let him out in January, as much as I think he's * now he's still a human and he probably has to be careful what he does here considering his family is in Israel.

    * situation for him.

Didn’t even notice he wasn’t in the squad until after. Feel for him his times up here now. Strange we never got rid in January.

I honestly think they knew we were not bringing anyone else is so if we had also sold Abada the fans would have lost it. They kept hold hoping he would be fine.

It would be best for both parties to loan him out and then sell permanently in the summer. He doesn't want to be here and his head is obviously not in a good place. It's a pity because I think he has lots of potential. I wonder how Ange would have managed all this?

We're in a title race where all the players need to be focused..if abada isn't in the right frame of mind then just drop him to the B team and bring a young guy in and then in the summer just sell him, he's bang average anyway so not much of a loss taking him out the team.

He signed a * new 4 year deal in September.
More than likely got a wage increase and bonuses.

He knew what the club was about in September..

Poor wee guy. What a shame.

That's a good point. Should give the guy the option to go where he likes. Can't possibly be good for the team having this situation in the dressing room. Managed it terribly so we should cut our losses and move him on.

Wouldn't even let him go out on loan tbh, time to sell.

Hopefully the door hits him on the way out, Was a great impact sub and that's why his stats are padded to fk.

Never a starter and never will be now.

    Spit the dummy...he can gtfo

    Club must come first

Not fair to say he has spit the dummy. He has been put in a terrible position.

He's a young guy playing football. He isn't a politician or a spokesman for a country. We dont know how his family has been impacted by the conflict. And a single photo of him celebrating a goal in front of a crowd with a couple of Palestinian flags could be enough to bring him or his family into danger. It's an awful situation and it clearly hasn't been thought through properly by the club.

I once wrote a song called 'Why are all the good looking girls moody as *'. Funnily enough when I performed it live, most of good looking ones didn't like it. :fear:

I stand with the Happy Loss on this one! :86:

Another 'strange' decision by the board....

Thought we were planning to loan/sell Abada when we announced Kuhn. As things stand, we have too many wingers. Highly doubt there are enough minutes to go around for everybody.

Was only thinking this yday when I seen Kuhn, oh and Yang come on ahead of vata. Think Abada should definitely have been sold. Wonder if there’s a plan to give vata mins, if not why not sell

See on Vata, the club are probably being a bit selfish here too but I would say rightfully so.

The teams looking to sign him would have been offering like £500k, we are due £350kish if he goes in the summer when his contract is up due to him being developed by the club.

We have had an injury crisis all season, have Abada missing for personal reasons and look to be trying to get Forrest out so having Vata as an option and letting him make his mind up to stay and sign a new deal or not isn’t a costly one for us really.

I haven’t seen enough of Vata to say if him going I a loss or not too us really. What is clear is the club don’t view him as a Ben Doak level talent despite the amount of coverage he seems to get suggesting he is.
