Hopefully not but if the money is right i think they will be going, lets hope not this team is fantastic now in a few years with a few player added to could be very magical and be a team not only to win the league but at least get us some pride back in Europe once again .

Both Kayal and Emilio have already said they want to stay for a long time. Let's continue to make them all feel part of the Celtic family.
Lenny is an integral part of this, as he not only brought them here but has developed excellent relationships with them, as well as a true sense of camaraderie.

Would be gutted to lose any of them especially murphy but im under no illusion that if a massive bid came in for any of them the Board would have a good look at it ,of course its down to the player if he wants to leave unless the board make things awkward for that person.

It's a good things people want our players, it means they are playing well.

Emilio has more chance of Champions League here than at Liverpool for the time being!!! (and it pains me in one respect to say that because I'm a Liverpool fan almost as much as I love Celtic)

Any of you saying "if the money's right, he'll go" are effectively calling Neil Lennon out as a liar and disrespecting our players as it would insinuate that they'd love to leave Celtic.

Leave the Champ Manager mentality at the door lads, gonnae?

 

Got to take these things with a pinch of salt. I would love to see all these players stay and I've no doubt that Lennon does to, but unfortunately he may not have the final say. Hopefully he will though.

 

We need new and extended contracts for our top players. Not until this is done would I feel at ease.

 

Nonsense.. Seen as it's a newspaper story and nothing more than quotes attributed to Lenny , people are saying they doubt the story as being 100% the case..

It also doesn't insinuate any player would love to leave Celtic but that doesn't mean they wouldn't want to leave for bigger things than SPL football..

The alternative to take the comments with a pinch of salt is to swallow it and take it as fact that our top players won't be sold..

So if a £10m bid then becomes a £15m for one of them that still means they won't be sold.. Aye right...

Every player has their price.. Always has been and will be the case..

 

obviously we aren't looking to sell our stars...but every player has their price. you cannot argue against it.

 

I like the sentiment and I beleive Lennon menas it, but as quoted before we will sell if the price is right.....if i was to place a bet i would say that Celtic (Board) will look to make a McGeedy like sale every year if it is required to balance the books and going back to our interim results then expect one £10mill-ish type sale in the summer
