Killen and Odea

Discussion in 'Transfer Rumours' started by holy pope, Aug 31, 2009.

  1. Skysports news there saying , O'dea will be leaving the club on loan to championship :31:* disgraceful ,

:bbpd:Killen will be leaving for good ,

  2. only disappinted about O'Dea if no replacements coming in.

  3. we better be getting someone * in then!!!!!

come on marco ruben!!! or bellers

  4. o'dea could be a great player for us one day. wouldnt like to see him go anywhere , even on loan. Frowny faces all round

  5. Ye just seen that there, Ipswich missed out on O'Dea tho, so maybe he wont be going anywhere, but looks as if Killen is off.. Didn't say who the players were that Celtic wanted to bring in tho hmm.. said 1 or 2 so thats good at least :icon_mrgreen:

  6. Yeh it said Ipswich missed out but they understand he will be going to championship on loan alot of clubs intrested , sadly there will only be 1 or 2 in according to David tanner there.

Odea is good enough to start of us already wgs used him in champs league he got man the match v Ac et then never used him in the spl pointless ,

  7. If tony decides he can go out on loan its his choice...we have to accept that

  8. he's playing a risky game right now! ( mowbary )

  9. only risky if he doesnt have players coming in.

  10. very risky He now needs a striker if hes letting killen go with a few guys out on loan and a cb and a midfeilder unless he brings in a utility player they usualy cost a few bob tho. Not worried tho somehow I feel confidant he will have something up his sleave.

  11. yep, and with news of players going out, but no definate arrivals as of yet, its looking a bit risky! i trust in the guy though!

not that worried. my only concern is about replacements.

think we have 3 centre backs looking at first team places. Caldwell, Loovens and McManus. Mogga may consider young Thompson as suitable if two of those 3 are injured. tbh, O'Dea would benefit hugely from a loan. guaranteed first team opportunity elsewhere. he will come back a stronger player for us.

i never thought Killen would be a big part of the squad...and he isn't. if he goes i demand a replacement. hopefully, a loan move for Ruben.

  12. Considering Caldwell and Loovens appear the preferred partnership at the back, and McManus is going nowhere, opportunities could be limited for O'Dea. I rate him quite a lot, but it could be beneficial for us if he were to go to a team, say, up near the top of the Championship, a team like Cradiff, West Brom, or Newcastle, he'd come back an even better player than he is. Ideally we wouldn't let him go at all, but that's not to say there can't be a positive slant to it.

As for Killen, no doubt his pre season scoring exploits will mean we'll see a few hundred grand for him.

  13. I think its excellent for o'dea, just what he needs, if mick is staying then we should be ok and worse case senario this josh thomson lad looks a good player. We need a out and out striker and a few more player shipped out like flood and robson.

  14. I have to admit I am getting excited wondering who he maybe trying to get in

  15. Robson will come back and do well for us this season. Hes still got it for the spl. I think his injury lost us the title last season.

  16. hope its ronaldo on loan from madrid as he did struggle abit on satarday:icon_mrgreen:
