Finally, someone speaking a bit of sense on this forum.

  6. I hope this is not going to come true. Our only real creative central midfielder.

I'd sell Scott Brown before even thinking of getting rid of Ki. Good player, very creative and has turned up in big games, despite others saying otherwise. To compare him to Lubo is, frankly, ridiculous though.

If the sentiment of the article (which may or may not be true) is that he wants to move to a team that can give him regular European football....then fair enough. He has a career that has a certain life-span, he will have his own personal abitions.....I would prefer he stayed, I would also prefer he was more consistent and could make a back pass actually reach the keeper (Sion), but i can't get as worked up as some....The play for the club, die for the badge mentality is slipping away from football, it is not a Celtic thing, it is a football thing...

Ki is not, and never will be another Lubo. Good player, but flatters to deceive all too often.

Sell him and use the money for two good CBs!

Hmm, suppose your right about Stokes, don't agree with Ledley though, if anything he's got better. I just don't feel he turns up enough in the big games, and if we can get a decent enough fee for him then I would be happy enough to sell. Matter of opinion I suppose

I would only sell any of our better playes if the money was used on our defence.

I was in the Celtic shop today and a guy I know works in it I was saying about Ki apparently wanting out and he says well he doesn't believe its true because they get emails about not to print a players shirt if they are leaving. Thats all i've been told don't know if its true or not but am hoping it aint. If it is then 8million and on your bike.

has ki started in all our european games this season? .. i know he started against udinese, but tbh i cant remember against sion and athletico, but something tells me he did? :s

anyway! point that im going to make here, is that he is more than likely going to start in our european games, furthermore i totally understand that its the europa league and isnt really a patch on the champions league, but i think its a bit early for him to be coming out with comments like this ( if true ) .. which makes me think theres been a bit of lazy journelism here, or mis-interpretation. ( i didnt read the article btw )

if we get 3/4 of the way through this season and its looking for sure we arent getting the league, then you can understand his comments, but you would think if he was happy here, then he would fight with the team, and understand why winning this years spl is a must.

hope he doesnt go tbh, one of my favorite players, but if he was to go, i wouldnt mind if we got a decent fee

Aslong as the club get top dollar for him then so be it, il be sad to see him go but we also really need to start making profits on players.

  18. Can not really blame him he is good enough to play at a much higher level than the spl.

I agree, certain players we have held on to for too long, then when we actually sell them, their value is low or their contract is up. i.e Boruc, Naka and even JVOH to an extent. The only player I can remember us selling at their peak value is Mcgeady.

There could be a few from this current crop though that go for some serious money

Unsurprising. Kayal and Izaguirre will be off next summer as well. That's just my opinion.

The rate we're going backwards at is alarming.
