Aye, as said above, Rodgers is getting the best out of him again. It's great to see that he will end his career here in style.

Was instrumental towards the end of last season and has started strong again, deserves to be starting at the moment, no question.

He seems to have found his pace again, not as quick as 2016-2020 Forrest but definitely not slow.

His comeback under Rodgers is insane.

Superb yesterday. Just 4 more games until he hits 500 appearances for the club. A true Celtic great and still making really significant contributions. He has won so many trophies at this point he must have had to build an extension just to house them all. Absolutely laughable that he only has 39 Scotland caps.

He has really never turned up for Scotland he is suited to a possession team not thumping it up the park to Lyndon dykes

Fair enough point. Still think 39 caps is remarkably low though for a player who has played at the top for so long with Celtic. Ireland's "style" was not really any different in the same time period and McGeady got close to 100 caps for Ireland, 93 I think.

yea but if you remember McGeady used to get slated for Ireland they always said he never turned up for them id argue that Scotland have prob had better players during that time period which is why he got more caps they needed him

Well to be fair I have watched probably every one of McGeady's games for Ireland and certainly he didn't always turn it on but overall he was clearly one of our better players. As for who was better between Ireland and Scotland. Well thats arguable certainly but neither side was very good or loaded up with talented players so I would disagree with you there. No question though James Forrest is and will go down as a Celtic great.

Had a good first half but seemed to be a done deal after HT.

Did really well for the first goal and just generally looking revitalised under Rodgers.

Deserves a tifo for his 500th game if it's against the Huns, Jamesy Forrest lifetime trophies vs Sevco lifetime trophies. Where do I donate!

If he plays against Hibs in league cup and St Mirren in league his 500th game if he is picked will definitely be against Sevco

Hope he gets that goal soon in league, some run.

It's a pity we ain't cottoned on to the song but Scotland fans have outdone us on the Forrest on Fire tune (Freed from Desire). Totally amazing tune.
