Thank * for players like him.

I'm delighted he's one of the guys who will be with us from start to finish of the ten.

All on the first page of this thread. Not intended to embarrass the posters.. just interesting that this was literally the consensus among everyone four years ago. Went through 10 pages there and not one person was backing him!

Some turnaround he's had. Some were even saying he has the worst attitude they have ever seen from a footballer and plays as if the world owes him something.

Incredible to think Forrest has improved in that time.

What an improvement this boys had... think learning how to use his left foot has made all the difference tbh. Isn’t as predictable these days as his left foot just as strong as his right. Long may it continue

He went from being someone you would say we could improve on, to irreplaceable in the space of 3-4 seasons. Massive improvement in multiple areas of his game, mostly end product and his decision making.

Very dangerous player, not the type of player you would want playing against you. In Scotland id imagine James Forrest is the least favourite player defenders like coming up against, he speed and skill is a nightmare to defend against.

It's like he's in cruise control most of the time. Hopefully he doesn't hit any bumps in the road this season.

Don't underestimate the part Patrick Roberts had to play in that. The competition drove James on to new heights.

Definitely mate, under Deila I preferred Roberts but under the snake it really kicked Forrest on to keep his place in the team.

It's why we badly needed new signings this summer, competition for places went stale towards the end of BRs time.

Yer auld da called it. Once he stopped lying on the turf fluffing his hair and pulling up his socks, he kicked on.
