And on we go to the next one. I genuinely don't think Brendan will let the player's dwell on last night, and nor should he..

    Bailly

    Lustig
    Toure
    Erik
    Izzy

    Brown
    Armstrong

    Forrest
    Rogic
    Sinclair

    Dembele

Took a few out from last night to keep it fresh and for a number of reasons......
Keeper is pish, so he's out. Don't trust him whatsoever..
Tierney out as I'm sure he needs a break, looks tired at time's..
    Gamboa out, too early..
    Bitton out, lazy shitebag *..
Roberts out, no up to speed yet I don't think at all..

A win and clean sheet. 5 nil Celtic..

Is Bailly even fit for the game?

I wouldn't mind a bit of rotation, nothing too much though.

    Gordon

    Tierney
    Erik
    O'Connell
    Gamboa

    Brown
    McGregor

    Sinclair
    Armstrong
    Roberts

    Dembele

I feel Toure and Lustig could probably do with a rest, bring one of them in for 30 mins or so in the second half for O'Connell. Bitton hasn't been on good form and could probably do with a seat on the bench for psychological reasons. Armstrong has looked promising in the central position, so should be interesting to see him start and see how he gets on.

Gordon in for DDV probably speaks for itself.

In fact, maybe keep DDV in goal, as it would be a better chance to get an idea of him compared to his previous games...

Same team as the game at the weekend I suspect, possibly with Forrest for Roberts.

Considering the game's on Sunday afternoon we'll have plenty of time to rest and get ready for it, so I wouldn't expect too many changes in the lineup.

We've won 19 straight domestic games after a Euro midweek game. Quite incredible, esp. if you consider 10 of those games came after Europa League group games that are played on Thursdays.

I'd stay loyal to De Vries - you don't go from Notts Forrest to playing for Celtic in the Nou Camp and play a blinder 9 times out of 10.

I'd keep Tierney in the team and maybe rest Toure as he is getting on a bit and will need some rotation. Gamboa was really poor last night so i'd put Lustig at RB, and I'd go back to a simple/diamond 442 with Sinclair as a forward playing off Dembele. A good 4-0 win I reckon. :shamrock:

    Lustig O'Connell Erik Tierney

    Armstrong McGregor

Good bit of rotation for this one, 2 real tough games and a lot of travel last week with internationals:

    Gordon

    Gamboa
    O'Connell
    Erik
    Izzaguirre

    Brown
    McGregor

    Rogic
    Forrest
    Roberts

    Dembele

    ?

Thanks for the semantics. I know many people from Nottingham say they are from "Notts'.

But thanks for pointing that out.

Notts refers to Notts County, Forest are always shortened to Nott'm Forest.

I think he will stick with DDV as dropping him after 7 goals could be viewed as sending a message that he was mainly at fault. I would rest KT and start Izzy. Think it will be tough so prob 1-3 the good guys. Chuffed as this is another game I will be able to make.

Should be a easy win. Not as tough as it used to be up here. Should win. 3-1 Celtic.

Welp, I'll be missing this one because I'll be stuck on a miserable tug-boat flitting between Newcastle and Amsterdam. :smiley-laughing002:

Would be nice to keep our first clean sheet in the league this season.

Gordon, Izzy, Toure, Erik, Lustig, McGregor, Brown, Rogic, Forrest, Sinclair, Dembele

If we go into a comfortable lead then hopefully give some game time to Christie and Henderson.

    3-0 I'll go for.

Would bring on Forrest for Roberts later in the game, Christie for Rogic and Henderson for Brown.

Will be interesting to see what kind of lineup Rodgers goes with. But I don't think you go with wholesale changes. I would certainly bring back Rogic into central midfield though, Griffiths up top if he is fit and maybe Forrest as well as Gordon in goal.
