Inverness CT vs Celtic, 19/11/2011, 12.30pm, ESPN

One tricky away fixture out of the way in Motherwell, but we now have this one just around the corner. Another must win game for everyone involved with Celtic and we should not forget that this is ultimately where we lost the league on that dark May evening last season. They also won 6-3 against Kilmarnock at Rugby Park (where we could only manage a 3-3 draw recently), so there's no room for complacency.

Nothing less than another three points will do here, but its lucky we've got the upcoming international break to get some players back to full fitness and hopefully we'll have a stronger team to put out for this game.

I reckon that Wanyama deserves to stay in the team after some of his recent performances, but I also think its vital Ledley plays alongside Kayal. These two complement each other very well and are undoubtedly our best midfield pairing, as shown many times last season.

When was the last time we had a game on Sky Sports? Renne, Murderwell and this game are all on ESPN!

 

I was thinking the same thing earlier on actually. I think The Huns' last two games have also been on ESPN. Strange.

 

Sky take the games at the beginning of season, then like 1 a month till April, and all Old Firms. Then at the split they take every game, bar a couple.

^International Week. Pointless to say the least

 

Stupid * pointless international break....

Really not what we needed considering we're just starting to find our feet again.

 

fs pointless international break Although it will be good to give the players a wee rest.

 

It will be tough Caley as usual. I have a sort of grudging respect for Butcher and his team will be confident after gubbing Killie but Celtic are capable of winning this. It would be helpful if we cut out these early goals conceded this time round. Kayal and Wanyama to rough them up and Hooper and Stokes to continue their scoring of the last 2 games. Hopefully we have more players fully fit as well with the international break. Get to work medical team.
