i wonder if lennon will change the formation or positions of certain players.im in a way quite excited probably in hope that he'll maybe have an idea of where he thinks certain players should play.

i really couldnt care if he brings youngsters in, just get a team together, teach them how to defend and let them get on with it, win a few games hopefully

he hopefully might get ahold of some players by the scruff of the neck and give them a good shake. seems like the kinda guy that wont stand a lack of passion and commitment, heres hoping im right!!!

This is the team i would like Lennon to play as consistently as possible regarding injuries etc...
    Boruc(zaluska just isnt as good)
Hinkel(why he was dropped in the first place ill never know) Hoiveld Rogne Brafheid(we have naylor but lets persist with him
    McGeady Crosas Nguemo Brown
    Fortune Keane

    with usual subs
when playing a 4-4-2 you need two central midfielders but you also need 1 (brown) who can play wide but also tuck in and then an out and out winger in McGeady, it was a toss up between fortune and rasmussen but i really like how fortune can drag defenders and really turn them and create chances, next season up front will most likely be Fortune and rasmussen and maybe kamara if he stays.

I think he will stick with a 4-4-2 for the remainder!

Lennon should have freedom to experiment with anything he likes tbh

It will be interesting to see what he tries out and what success he has with said system

Im Guessing he will adopt a Strachan-esque approach having worked closely with him.

being captain under MON i can see him adopting similar thinking with the 3-5-2 if not a 3-5-2 a very strong and physical 4-4-2

I can't see a 3-5-2 at all. The 3-5-2's achilles heel is playing against a lone striker (most if not all teams in Scotland against us) and has practically disapeared from world football. It would take an experienced manager with balls to utilise and would need a drastic plan B.

I reckon he's going to go back to basics - a 4-4-2, Strachan-esque even. I know originally he was "closest" to MoN but you feel he matured as a person and on a footballing mental level under Strachan.

He's learned from 2 great tacticians, but I'm sure he'll have his own take on certain aspects of play.

Him being a defensive midfielder, I reckon he'll drum into all players to graft hard for possession of the ball and a possession orientated style of play and to try and play it about quickly to erode the other teams fitness and make the other team pay for any mistakes.

Is that all? I'd ask for a packet of hobs nobs whilst the going is good! :56:

I hope that Lennon tries out a few things test the limits of the players, he certainly shouldnt be under pressure to win at all costs at the expense of experimenting. Its a good opportunity for him to learn, he could be the next full time manager...

It's difficult to know what Lennon will do and what players he will use.. I feel sure he'll mix it up big time and maybe go towards 4-4-2 as it's a safer option..

I could see him playing Rasmussen as a target man with Keane as his partner , Fortune and Mcgeady on the wings , maybe Scott Brown as the holding central midfielder with Ki or Crosas as the playmaker (with a license to get forward).. I'd expect O'Dea to stay in the team and probably partner Loovens or Hooiveld , starting at the weekend.. I think Braffheid will keep the left back slot and Hinkel will come back in.. Boruc in goals..

Thompson , Sammy , Wilson , Zaluska , and McGowan dropping to the bench..

Hopefully any setup that will make us sturdy at the back. I'd like 5-3-2/3-5-2 myself, but it's up to Lenny to design his squad.

I agree with most of that..i wouldnt play Fortune on wing..If McGinn is fit or McCourt..id play 1 of them on the right with McGeady on the left. O'Dea will not partner Hooiveld - 2 left-footed centre-halves??? Id like 2 see McManus back in summer..squad lacks leadership...a 4-4-2...Boruc, Hinkel, Loovens, Hooiveld, O'Dea, McGinn, Brown, Crosas/Zheng, McGeady, Keane, Rasmussen
