Just started buying Celtic shares again.
    It’s the CCP Ordinary shares.
Just wondering how many others have got.
I bought mine through Hargreaves & Landsdowne share dealing site.

Got some as a gift when Fergus took over but no clue how many or what type. Not even sure where the certificate is.

Set up a direct debit to the account so should be able to get 2500 shares each year at a minimum

I’m not sure how many Celtic shares I own but I took a * in Asda Govan and I’m pretty sure the bog roll I wiped my * with was sevco shares.

It was a bad one so maybe used up 10% of the entire club.

I bought a batch back in the day when they first came on the go, from memory it was 5 and 5??
Think it cost around 800 quid then, suspect early 90's.
So I wonder how much they are worth now?

Family were original shareholders so they were converted to preference shares at first issue

We also had to buy in minimum £3k at first share issue in the Jock Stein Lounge! Still got my club blazer somewhere!

I sold most of mine late 90’s for a handsome return (I needed the money) but still have a few preference and ordinary shares. Get a wee cheque every year.

My dear departed fathers shares I gave to my brother to hold along with his.

I remember my cousin had bought 2 x £670 batches at first issue and sold at damned near £8k and bought himself a car! Made a change for us getting something back for all of our years following the club.

I will be honest and say I couldn’t tell you where my certificates are now.

Had about 800 with Hargreaves’s Lansdown but decided to sell them.

Would only want shares if it was a share issue rather than simply “renting” them through a broker

I’ve wondered about this for a while. Are Celtic paying out dividends to shareholders? They really shouldn’t be in my opinion.

And I mean that from the point of view of cynical shareholders. The real value of the shares is if they increase in value in the future. All money should be kept in the club and invested similar to how a technology company works.

I think the last cheque was around £37 or something and I can’t remember when that was (a few years ago maybe?).
I really don’t bother, in fact over the years and various moves I’m sure I’ve missed some. They used to send my brothers to me!!!

I’ve moved a few times so I guess there are some that just went missing.

In fairness it was never for a return, but late 90’s I needed to cash in most of mine when the shares were at their highest before the football bubble burst as such.

I don’t even read the accounts anymore, but I would imagine the guys with large amounts of preference shares get weighed in. Whether or not they “reinvest” is another thing entirely.

I stopped going to games because we didn’t do anything about the cheating in 2012. I go when I can as the family have several seats, but I will never pay again for executive lounge seats due to the years when I did I was cheated blind. Fortunes to watch American Wrestling. What is worse is that we never pipe up when all that 55 and 150 years and worlds most successful tripe gets trotted out.

All we had to do in 2012 is hit that mail right on the head and say no we are not having that.

Celtic PLC have lost me, winning to sock it to this awful country consumes me.

It says more about me I guess than them.
