i was just wondering if anybody had watched abit more of this guy than me only ever watched him when Dundee utd Played Celtic/rangers,and Looked a good Keeper but not really seen enough to really give an opinion about the guys Ability.

Before Dundee utd I'm sure he was Playing for a Small Polish Club might even have been Lower league,is he capable of Making the Step up from Utd to Celtic.Thoughts?

I actually rate Zaluska very highly as a goalkeeper.
He oozes confidence between the sticks, and he is a very hard goalie to beat.
    Great signing for us :50:

He was room mates with Boruc so he must have played for Legia Warsaw. In terms of how good he is, he shone in the SPL with Dundee United but he's nowhere near Boruc's level yet who outshone the best in the world at the Euro's and has put in some huge performances against the best in Europe in the Champions League. Time will tell if he's that good.

He has the potential to be brilliant. I think that Boruc will be here for one more season to help Zaluska settle in. The guy could easily be our next number one, and I have every faith in him.

He is a good keeper from what ive seen of him ,Celtic signed him as a NO2 to Boruc and to give him competition ,but if Boruc leaves he will be the main man i think ,its a big leap coming from Utd to Celtic and he has to step up to the mark ,time will tell if he has it .

  6. Yep mate. He has that big game confidence and temperament about him that I like too. Remember seeing the highlights of a game he had against Rangers at Ibrox last year I think, and he singlehandedly kept them at bay for the bulk of the game with a whole series of outstanding saves. In time I am sure he will be our No 1 between the sticks.

Zaluska is weak in the air like Boruc, he's nothing special tbh

Outside Boruc, I think he is the best of the rest in the SPL, and is a very decent and able back up for Boruc.

I really like the look of him, Boruc is most probably away so he's not a bad replacement.
I hadn't noticed the corner thing before, that may be down to the fact that DU defenders are about 7 feet tall.

I would be comfortable with him as a first-choice if Boruc leaves. He's a pretty * good no.2.

Think he's one of the better keepers in the SPL.

I think he will have to be good enough to make the step up as i have a gut feeling that Boruc will be away very soon

IMO Boruc is a great shot stopper, one-on-one and kicker but is overhyped because he is a personality. He is one of the worst cross takers I have ever seen. Thing is in the SPL where we dominate games, he is more likely to need to deal with crosses than shots and he is a very weak link there. Its probably more important to be good at crosses than shots for a Celtic goalie in the SPL. Maybe different in the CL though. Personally I think we need the money he used to be worth more than we need Artur. I would rather have Zaluska and the money for Artur than have Artur. Problem is I dont think he is worth much after that crazy season for us and Poland. If we could still get 6 or 7 million for him I would sell. Otherwise it may be better to hold off, let him get a good season under his belt and then sell him on when his value goes back up.
