Me and a mate have been talking about this now and i want to visit them all haha

heard a lot of stuff about a place in kilmacolm called Balrossie, was basically a school/home for bad children but some of them were supposed to be absolute nut jobs. Its been empty since the mid 90s and there was no explanation as to why it was closed but ive read and heard many a time that all the documents of the children are still in the place and everything is exactly the way it was (exept for the vandalism) when it was closed. i found out today the exact location of it so im dying to get up to it at around this time of night and see it in all its glory haha!! when i was there today it did see a very creepy place tbh.

any other places you all know worth having a look at :icon_mrgreen:?

Newark Castle not supposed to be haunted?I remember on a school trip into the Greenock town centre aswell,in one of the lanes behind buildings near the James Watt Pub,we were told it was haunted by an old woman that lived there years ago.The Cemetary is a good place for seeing ghosts but it's usually your mind playing tricks on you because of the setting and how scary it can be cutting through it at night.Heard loads of people say they've saw things in there though.

The tunnels under Greenock aswell must have some storues about them.I've walked them and it's pretty dodgy but never saw any boogiemen or that, there IS a guy that lives outside and feeds himself by eating rats though, near where the tunnels come out at a part.FACT.

sounds like catman, there was always a story about a tunnel in greenock beside cappielow (dunno if the picture is the same one) but it was apparently haunted by "the white lady"

A photographer friend of mine used to use Longriggend young offenders institute (Coatbridge) as a studio after it shut down, all his photos have orbs and other unexplained streaks of light through them. I wouldnt have went there if you paid me.

I imagine it was like somewhere out of Shutter Island in its day!
