Heard today from the chairman of Alloa Athletic Bob Hopkins that Celtic have completed the signing of highly rated 16 year old Alloa Athletic Striker Greg Spence for £75,000 will be anounced early this week.Afew of my mates watch Alloa and rate him highly he made his first team debut last season and scored a few goals.

 

Won't argue with highly rated youngsters joining the club

Was having a gander at the forum he is on and he is a Rangers fan which doesn't bother me at all, but some of the stuff he has wrote on that forum might come back to haunt him if he turns out to be a good player.

Quite surprised I didn't need to sign up to the game or the forum to look at his profile and everything, but there ye go.

 

Like how were signing some youngsters good for the club. Havent heard anything about this boy in the past though, 75 k for a highly rated player seems a good bit of business.

Having a look at that forum, he seems like an alright guy. Only seen a few posts but he made a point of saying how he hates sectarianism and racism and said he wanted Rangers to be deducted points in the hope that it would get rid of the bigotry.

Of course then a few pages later he posts some lyrics from the famine song. Me and my big mouth!

I havent read anything he's said but that aint really the attitude to any players we've signed, he's a young boy and from what ive read here has said some stupid things but doesnt mean he should '* off', give the guy a chance.

He must be highly rated if we're paying £75k for him, good luck to him here.
