Read his book. Ally McCoist and some other players told him to do it in a pre-season friendly in turkey and he, being the prankster he is, did it. The celtic fans were winding him up a few games later and he did it again. He admits it was one of the most stupidest things he has done as it led to IRA death threats and stuff, but also admits that he didnt know the history and stuff behind it. He says he is half catholic himself and didnt want to be caught up in sectarianism or anything.

He seems like a brilliant guy, just has a lot of issues and mental problems. What a footballing genious he was.

    Can you be half Catholic?!?

I wonder which half is the catholic half, top or bottom.

He knew exactly what he was doing! He might not have known the full story but he knew it was to offend celtic fans.

Well when he goes on Norwegian TV and tells Norway to '* off' its obvious he's got some problems. Its an illness hes got so I dont think you can hold it against him.
