first team

let the young guns loose,, we have a few youngish players in our team ,such as -koki, odea, caddis, wilson, cuthbert, hutcheson, mcourt, sheridan, its time to let them loose,
what do you think?

 

It's very hard to say when you don't get to see them up against good opposition, Hutchison has been scoring for fun in the reserves before injury, but hasn't even had a sniff when our strikers canny score in a barrel of fannies.

Caddis or O'Dea never let us down when they play, but are back in the reserves as soon as Hinkle/Mick/Wilson regain a shred of fitness.

It is a strange one, but I suppose we must trust the management team, who are in the know.

I'd like to see Hutchison as our strikers are poor this season, Koki & Caddis have already proven they're up to it - the others I don't know

 

why put the youngsters in when the first team are doing so well? their time will come over the next few seasons, we all know strach will never rush kids in too early which will help them gain experience before being thrown in at the deep end. wouldn't mind seeing a few of them go out on loan before we think about letting them become first team regulars

 

Play a few against queens park, they should surley have enough to beat them

 

Disagree why run the risk of dropping points when playing an inexpierenced team?


Sheridan has played a few games this season, Mizuno played in an OF game... Wee Caddis will get a run im sure

 

We need to be playing our best team week in week out maybe if we have the league secure early then i dont see why not.

 

sheridan hahahaha wise up, the guy shouldnt be given a pair of boots never mind playing for celtic football club.

at the minute id give hutchinson and odea a chance. Our defence isnt solid st the minute and when o deas come in this season hes looked sharp, as for hutchinson he shoulda been given a chance ages ago when mcdonald and samaras were out of sorts. Id start him before sammy anyday.

 

When you think about it, thats an achievement in its self, and fair play to the management and scouts, dnt think theres a rush in bringing in the junior bhoys there time will come soon enough.

 

they do deserve a chance at some point because thats how you know if they will make it or not BUT you have to pick the time correctly and carefully because if it turns out to be a bad game / result they may never recover

 

I'd agree with that. And once those players become more experienced, I'm hoping that the team will become much stronger.

 

I think our first team is young enough as it is, it must be lower than the national average. This is a critical time in the SPL, we must have our strongest available team on the park at every opportunity, at least until the huns get beat by St Mirren again.
